  3. On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.
    At present you have to click the dropdown, which lists all open jobs, and then find the job you are working on.

  4. It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.

  5. Enable reporting / export for the 'Fee from Refund' field under Tax under the Tax and Company section in clients.

    The other fields in the ax and Company section are available in the Client & Contact Report Builder, however this field is overlooked. I understand that there is a 3rd party request to have this field included in the Client API.

  6. Rename "other name" field to "middle name/s", need another field for casual name (say for example people that go by their middle name) and also put first name or casual name on contact details screen that is shown on front screen, currently showing other name for some reason...

  7. It would be incredibly helpful for us to be able to view the notes on a profile when you view it at group level.

    Currently we don’t use this feature because when a note applies to a whole group (which it often does), how do you know what entity or individual within the group to record the note against.

    Creating the view to see all notes for a group it won’t matter so much where the employee decided to leave that note.

  8. We currently integrate with a range of practice management software, and have a recurring request from customers using XPM to have us add notes to client records when certain actions are taken.

    Currently, adding or updating notes is not possible via the API, however documents can be managed via the API. Client notes are useful as they allow important communications with a client to be logged against that client for future reference.

  9. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.

  10. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. This not only consumes valuable time but also poses potential security risks.

  12. When accessing through ipad browser (chrome/safari/edge), if entering time through the dashboard, there is not the function to start typing a job name and the list to match with the name typed. This function is avaialble on desktop. This means users need to scroll through the list to get to client name, then click/tap on it. Requesting the desktop site does not work.

  14. Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

    Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

  16. You have 4 other online cloud document management systems listed via XPM. We use SharePoint and would request this to be added as a further option to link our programs for efficiency and easy of use.

    We would then like tasks to be setup in jobs, that we can "link" documents in Sharepoint, to tasks/jobs in XPM.

  18. We are in the process of checking all Client details in XPM to ensure they are all complete and up to date. One of the checks that we were doing was to ensure that we had the NZBN numbers of clients recorded. However this appears to be the only client field that you are unable to select when creating a custom report!
    Xero's response to my query was "you may like to add this in as a custom field and input in the NZBN in the custom field section for the clients which will then pull into the report" -…

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback we've received since my previous updates and apologies for any confusion caused.

    Checking back in with our product teams around this, there is a current issue that means some NZ practices are unable to add Business Number to their custom reports atm. This is something we intend to rectify and I'll move the idea back to Under review for now, and as soon as there are further updates on it, we'll share with you here.

  20. We need the ability to add multiple email addresses for a client. Not extra Contacts, but the main email address for a client. Currently you can only enter one email address, this is the address that tax payment letters (for example) are automatically sent to. However, some clients want these to go to more than one address. We have to keep a separate spread sheet and our Tax administrator needs to manually send tax payment letters to those clients.

    This idea has been reviewed by our product team however with other priorities right now we don't have immediate plans for developing this capability. If there's any movement or news we'll definitely share with you all, here.
