    I was told that when you create a job for client A, you can only create CURNN for client A.

    We are unable to make CURNN for client A's association - such as their spouse, their business (company, trust, partnership, etc) or any client in client A's group.

    To do a CURNN for client A's spouse, i would have to create a job for the spouse then create the CURNN.

    We don't have any immediate changes around this planned, for now you'll want to add a New CURNN to each individual client. We'll continue to keep an eye on the community support for this here,.

  2. AML Name List screening:

    As it is a known fact that accountants and bookkeepers must screen or conduct name list screening for individual owner that control >25% share of the company. I my former software Nomisma and Capium, accountant can conduct name list screening within the system without the need for additional subscription.
    Once the name list screening is conducted, the result is saved under the individual.
    I believe if this implemented in Xero it will make Xero one-stop-shop without the need for using other software.

  3. Xero have announced that they are removing the ability to automatically send batch files across to Kiwibank & ASB on 16th November, in order to "focus our efforts to support areas of Xero that provide the most value for customers."

    Speaking on behalf of my clients who actively use this feature, it's of huge value to them. It automates a process that otherwise involves manually downloading a file, logging into internet banking and uploading that file. It's even better for users who don't have internet banking access, but need to set up payment batches on behalf of those that do…

  4. Can Hubdoc extract the invoice reference or job reference from an invoice and add that as a job tag. Would be very useful when the invoice is on-chargeable to a project, especially when there are multiple projects/jobs on the go. E.g. building industry type jobs.

I'd like a dashboard showing all clients listed under our organization with all banking details as well as in the moment bank feed status (ie: is the bank feed active, does it needs to be refreshed, has it dropped). This would enable those that have many clients under their organization to work smarter to fix bank feeds as soon as they're down without delays.

  7. As 'Blue Xero' supports a 'Not for Profit' organisation, it disappointing that an accompanying
    CT600 cannot be produced in Xero Tax for a charity.

  9. When invoicing a job for a client that has a Billing Client I would like to able to sometimes invoice the Job Client instead of the Billing Client. Currently if there is a Billing Client exists XPM forces you to invoice the Billing Client.

  11. ATO prefilling summary to include column displaying relevant Tax Return Label next to prefill information

    Example (Individual Tax Return - Bank Interest)
    Gross Interest $x,*** Label 10L

    Example (Managed Funds Distributions)
    Non primary production income amount $x,*** Label 13U

    Currently the ATO prefilling summary does not show the Tax Return Label which information will be prefilled into. Inclusion of Labels will make reconciliation between prefilling and Tax Return easier.

  13. If you send an email from the XPM Job it automatically adds the details as per the "name" field of the job as the subject in the email.

    Please add the name of the client after the insertion of the "job name" field of the job in the subject.
    If I do have a client with multiple entities, it can be confusing for the client as he does not know for which entity the mail is - he only sees the job number and the job description. If you look in history of your mails you can then also search…

  14. Please add an option in collaboration to show active only or ALL jobs.

  15. We would love a client report showing the Industry as it is in the Xero Organisation Settings.

    Currently the report gives the Main Industry classification but not the Sub Category.

    For Example the HQ report would show a company industry is Construction but actually the company provides Electrical Services and there is no report to get this detail of all the clients.

  16. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  17. We have noticed an error, where, when managed fund distributions are prefilled from the ATO, a zero is put in the Item 24 - Other Income

    This causes an error for each managed fund prefill that needs to be manually fixed by going in and deleting that entry in the schedule.

    I just recently had a client with 15+ managed fund imports (owned jointly with his wife, so same issue on her side) which meant I had to waste quite a bit of time going into each schedule, only to delete the zero at the bottom.

  18. Report codes that are in the For Review category need a button so after changing the ones that need changing the rest can be marked as reviewed. Currently it looks like you have to click into each one to review it and no-one is going to have time do that when you can see most of them dont need changing.

    Its always an extra click to view all the report codes as Xero defaults you the the codes that are For Review. If they have all been reviewed we wouldnt have to do an extra click each time we want…

  19. Group Custom Fields - it would be very useful to be able to assign custom fields to groups rather than only contacts & individuals, then be able to report on these fields. This would help with areas such as marketing, estimated fee groups, and handover notes.

    We currently use the main billing entity but this would save a lot of time and improve efficiencies.

  20. Timesheet view and function similar to outlook calendar. Where it shows your timesheet entries like meetings on your calendar.

    1. It would be quick and easy to identify gaps you are missing
    2. Being able to drag them to extend or reduce entries
    3. Being able to copy and paste an entry. Make for faster input.
