UK Payroll - Set an end date for payroll deductions
I've just set up a salary sacrifice for a cycle to work scheme in payroll. However there isn't an end date in Xero so I have to manually diarise a date to stop the salary sacrifice for the employees. Please could a box be added to automate this.

Xero HQ ASK - Have one question dependent on answer to another
For example:
Question: Do you have ***? Yes/No
If Yes – add a file attachment
If No – then go to next question(As in MS Forms)

Reports - Formatting Notes over many pages
When notes run over two pages - fix formatting so that if a note runs over two pages, it automatically creates a page break so that it appears together.
I understand there are already page breaks, but it is diffcult to know as each client is different what notes are requried and and such you need to export to PDF many, many times, before the formatting is correct.

Report revenue by state - by picking up postcode on invoice.
A % state by state breakdown of turnover is required for professional indemnity insurance policies for accountants. It would be great if Xero allowed us to do a report by state picking up the postcodes off the invoices.

Xero HQ - Use API for Document Packs
Would be great to have ability to GET document packs stored in Xero HQ so the files can be also hosted externally in other document systems (Suite Files, FYI, SharePoint, Google Drive etc).

Reports - Add currency information to Journal report
The Journal report does not show any currency information, it would be very helpful to chow to currency and the debit/ credit source amounts.

Depreciation Schedule - Include fixed asset numbers
Please add in the fixed asset numbers in the new depreciation schedule. The old report had this and it made it very easy to review and reconcile. This feature is very much needed. Thanks

Permissions | Provide bank admin access to staff from HQ
All other access roles can be done from HQ, except for this one.

Xero HQ - Report template - option to include a custom column similar to custom row
Add a custom column similar to a custom row into reports.
This would be used to include quantities for livestock reports, for automating % of trust distributions payable to beneficiaries prior end of June.
This currently can't be done in reports.

Xero HQ - Client subscriptions report
We have clients who have purchased their own Xero subscriptions and clients for whom we have purchased the subscriptions.
I have enquired, and at present there is no method of determining which client is which without manually checking each client.
Would it be possible to create a report that can identify the subscription purchaser?

Reports - Reinstate Combined Departmental report in new P&L
The old version of profit & loss will retire in 31 July. However, the departmental combination report is really helpful. As per attachment, it compares the performance of each department on one page. It is much easier to use and review the performance. Currently, no other report has the same function.
The new version of p&l also has the function to filter the p&l for each department. However, there is no combination report as the old version.
It would be really helpful to have a combined departmental report as the old version of p&l.

Xero HQ - View connected apps by client
Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

Xero HQ - Alphabetise client list in Xero staff
At the moment Xero doesn't have a list of clients in alphabetical order when I go into Staff to amend access. With over 200 clients, it is taking a long time to sort it all out, even if I use the search box.
Please include functionality so that the client list in Staff is in alphabetical order by default, the same as it was in My Xero staff.
I would also like to see a number value next to the staff member's name showing how many clients they have access to. Again, similar to the set up in My Xero…4 votes -

A report that could tell you the status of all clients super payments that are processed through the Xero super function. This would allow practices to ensure compliance with ATO processing and payment dates

Would be nice to be able to auto populate the net profit into new reports as older report packs did.The older report packs had a net profit before tax / net profit after tax field option how has an "upgrade" to new report lost this feature?

Xero log in - Choose default organisation
Set the demo company as the first company seen on log-in, or be able to set which one you want to see.
I often use my laptop when speaking with clients and for a split second after logging-in I am on another clients business dashboard until I can grab the mouse and change it to their business. I don't think this is good business practice.

Contacts - Colour coded status icons for invoices and bills
When viewing bills/invoices under a contact, can the 'bill created', 'bill approved' and 'bill paid' icons be different colours please? :)

Document Packs: Mark as complete when missing signatures
It would be useful to have the ability to mark a document pack as complete even if some of the signatures are missing.
We have had occasions where trustees refuse to sign via document packs after the clients have already signed. We then have to print the partially signed documents and send hard copies for trustees to sign.
This leaves the document pack incomplete. The only option available is to cancel the pack, not ideal The ability to mark the pack as complete would be a great addition.
