  1. It would be very helpful to be able to mark individual months in each account as reconciled so a separate list does not have to be done to ensure that each month's books are fully complete. Thank you!

  2. Would be great if on the 'Ask' Tab when you've loaded the search query and picked the finical period in question you could attached the TB or other reports within Xero with out having download first and attach it.
    It would also mean you could do serval clients in one sitting rather than one at a time, which an email would be quicker for.

  4. An option to have uploaded files in Ask to be added to Files. Currently have to be downloaded and then uploaded again to Files. It would be more efficient to have the option to add directly to Files

  5. Consider a warning message when changing the COA type saying that ' Report Code is assigned to this account and it will disappear from current view and you will have to code it again'

  8. A % state by state breakdown of turnover is required for professional indemnity insurance policies for accountants. It would be great if Xero allowed us to do a report by state picking up the postcodes off the invoices.

  9. We are currently reviewing our staff access, and have realised that it is currently a labourious process when a staff member only temporarily needs access to a ledger e.g. technical help, auditor access, to cover sick/holiday leave.

    It would be great to be able to set a time limit for access when staff or users when they are added e.g. 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, or on a given date. This would save practice managers having to keep note of when users needed to be removed and having to do that all manually.

  10. Would be good when using the Xero report templates that when net assets balances are negative that a Going Concern note is included in the accounting policies to the notes to the financial statements.
    This seems to be an automated process on most accounting packages that we have used but very much a manual process through Xero.

  11. We have lots of Xero systems that belong to one client, one of their admin employees left and we had to remove their e-mail address from each Xero system manually. It would be much easier if we had users' directory and be able to filter by e-mail address and remove people much easier from the associated companies.

    Thanks for contributing to the community here guys. We will soon be releasing a new solution in Xero HQ which provides one central place to manage your VAT, personal tax, company accounts and corporation tax deadlines.  I've shifted this idea to 'working on it' for the time being and we'll let you know when it's available.

  13. Being able to see in XERO HQ the STP 2 status of all clients without having to open each file. Would save time and make it easier to manage.

  14. Adobe signatures option available to be able to remove the blue line, name and the date from the signature. It is unnecessary on most of the documents and looks odd.

  15. When you have multiple companies using Xero and utilise the function to approve bills in Xero for audit tracking purposes you need a way to view the number of bills "Awaiting approval" in all of the companies in one place.

    It is very time consuming to open each company individually in order to confirm that there are bills that need approval.

  16. Xero Sign Address book or similar

    Would be great if Xero sign had some form of memory or address book for people who had previously signed, rather than having to input the details each time.

    Whether is was linked to practice manager or just within Xero sign, it would save time having to look up client email addresses, and possible typos in names/emails!

  17. Instead of asking a practice manager administrative to give you access, you can search clients already with your practice, and request access through Xero.

    This would save time of the person requesting, and also save time for the administrative person having to key in details as they will hopefully just be able to accept or decline the request.

  18. The option to set the practice name as the sender for a query and not the Xero user. E.g. "Xero Accounting Group via Xero" and not "John Smith via Xero".

  19. Currently all Xero advisor certifications expire in December which is a really busy time for accountants in the UK and it's nearly impossible to get everyone to recertify at this time.

    I think it would be welcomed by all accountants if this could be moved to our quieter season in February/March and I think as a result a lot more people would recertify.

  20. Have a master overview of Xero accounts from different offices.
    The offices administrators staff level can only see their own Xero clients unless added to the master overall practice.
