XPM - Default staff checkbox as ticked when allocated to a job
After the recent XPM change where a user can allocate staff to multiple jobs from the Jobs menu, the staff at the Task level are added but the checkbox is not ticked. This means that the staff member can see the job in their timesheet, but not the tasks associated with that job, so cannot book time.
Support have advised they are aware this has changed and do not have a solution to get around this currently, other than manually going into each job and filling the tick box for each staff member for each task. As we create and…

Invoices: Manually export invoice to Xero after an export fail
The 'export invoice to Xero' manual option should be available to staff that have approve invoice permissions. When we have a 'Xero export failed' message and staff correct the error, they need to be able to push this across manually to Xero blue without requesting it from an administrator.

Projects - Assign multiple tasks to employees
In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.
please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

Practice Manager - Allow retrospective updating of staff costing
when the cost was initially onboarded in XPM, the costing was not properly setup. Upon turnover to me, I noticed it automatically when exporting reports that the cost don't have figures on it. Upon updating the staff cost (manually PER EMPLOYEE profile), it still won't reflect in the previous periods prior to the input of the staff cost.

XPM - Report on Fee from Refund Field
Enable reporting / export for the 'Fee from Refund' field under Tax under the Tax and Company section in clients.
The other fields in the ax and Company section are available in the Client & Contact Report Builder, however this field is overlooked. I understand that there is a 3rd party request to have this field included in the Client API.

XPM - Update client details via API
As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.
One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. Xero Practice Manager - Report on WIP control by manager or partner
We have a number of firm incentives for both partners and managers relating to their individual client portfolios. An ability to review their control of WIP, billings and receipts should not be a major effort. Or is Pulse the answer?

XPM - First Name and Last Name to appear on XPM Client Main Details Page
Can we please be able to view and individuals FIRST NAME and LAST NAME on the Client Details Screen. Currently you can only see what the First Name and Last Name for a client is by going in to Edit the page. It seems extremely weird that you can't view the First Name and Last Name of a client on the Main Details page when arguably that is the most important detials of an Individual!

XPM - Invoice Pay Now function
Invoices issued from XPM need to have the ability to have payment services so that clients can click on a Pay Now button and pay the invoice immediately in order to:
- improve cashflow by collecting monies as soon as possible
- remove the need to push invoices into blue xero to gain access to Pay Now functionality
- remove double handling of invoices that practice staff originate in XPM and then operations staff have to issue from blue Xero. Practice staff should be able to manage practice invoices without having to involve operations staff.2 votes -

Practice Manager | Staff Permissions - Security Groups
It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.
This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.
