  1. It would be great if we could have the option of a display name as legal name for all entity types and not just individuals to help differentiate different entities with the same name. For example, we have a few trusts that share the same name but are completely separate entities belonging to different client groups and it can make it hard to tell those apart at a glance.

  2. Be able to link multiple Xero files to one XPM client. Quite a few clients have more than one Xero file (e.g. ledger, payroll only, standard/premium, etc.) and it would be useful to be able to link all of a client's Xero files to their XPM profile.

  5. Ability to move active jobs within a client so that when the automatic retrieval from ATO (+New Return, +New AS, +New CURNN) goes to the top job on the list. At the moment it automatically goes to the last job created. This wont necessarily be the job you want the automatic retrieval to go against. Should be able to sort the active jobs so that this can happen. We currently have to go into the automatic BAS created, delete it, open the correct job and create a new BAS from there.

  6. It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

  7. Debit card transactions are not needed to be reported on 1099s. When using bank feeds in checking accounts it does not distinguish debit card vs check. I suggest there be a option to identify debit card vs checks so the debit card activity is not automatically added the the 1099 reporting.

Currently when XPM gets the Summary of Earnings information from IRD and imports this into the XPM tax return, this imports all the names of where they have earned income from in CAPITAL LETTERS. This isn't very friendly to the eye and we will often go in and rename each of these imported lines so they look nicer.
    Or if these aren't edited, but other data is added e.g. business income, then the format won't match.
    All caps is very ugly!

    It would be great if XPM would import automatically with first letter in capital letter and the rest in…

  9. The ability to bulk upload/import Recurring Jobs via .csv file, in the same way you can Bulk Import Jobs that are not recurring.

    This allows for each row to have the copy/paste capacity for overlapping criteria and can be quickly created through a spreadsheet (which could stem from an Export of your client list to 'schedule' your job creation throughout the year).

    One import for an entire client base would be considerably more streamlined and efficient.

  10. It would be great to see the tax refund/payable next to the tax return in the client view, tax returns tab, saves opening up the tax form. Would also be good to see the assigned staff member in the jobs tab in client view, saves clicking into job.

  11. XPM Standard reports - we need more filters added here for example ability to select partner/manager instead of running the full list. even being able to filter by job category would help on all standard reports.

  12. Xero advisors in the US are climbing an uphill battle since Xero is not well known, I would love it if I could get on the advisor directory with less points. I cant get Xero clients without the directory but I cant get the directory without Xero clients. Its a catch 22

  13. Create a Registered Office field in the contact details so that for client companies, we can have a quick view of physical/business, postal and registered office details. Currently, we have had to create a custom field, which you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to view.

We have many individual clients who don't have a company or trust etc. Can there be a salutations field that can be used specifically for addressing them in invoices and tax letters that doesn't affect where they stand in the alphabetical order of things? If we update their display name, all of those clients would be under 'M' for Miss, Mrs, Ms or Mr rather that their first or last name which then throws reporting if you're looking for someone in particular in a list of people. Would be nice to have this carry over to Blue Xero so that…

  18. New XPM Contacts that link to multiple clients shows archived contacts when search. This is confusion to know which contact to select when the client has archived entities, if use incorrect one then not using 1 main contact. Currently having to select each one till find the main contact with current contact info.
    Need to block out archived contacts from showing or atleast show a symbol against them so know not to select it.

  19. We are finding staff are regularly being logged out of XPM when they move between the 'Clients' tab & the 'Jobs' tab. When this happens it asks staff to log back in, but we are finding it is taking them to random different areas of XPM instead of back to where they were. i.e Setting up a new organisation page, in the middle of a client file etc. This appears to be a basic functionality issue that needs to be fixed.
