  1. Currently, there’s no functionality in Xero Practice Manager to edit job names in bulk. This would be an extremely useful function for us. For example, we have a large number of Client Services jobs which need updating and without a bulk update function we need to do this manually, job by job which takes far too long.

    Hi team, we appreciate your input to product ideas. While we don't have plans for bulk update of Job names right now, I wanted to share some work we've recently released for other bulk actions.

    You can now update the Priority, State, Start date, Due date, Staff, Manager or Partner for multiple jobs at once. Select the jobs from the Job Manager page, click 'Bulk actions' and choose the action you'd like to make.

  2. Account number to be synced to XPM from Xero. This unique account number/code is very useful and would be great to be automatically synced. Further, if, just like in Xero, it is a set field in XPM that notifies you when you are duplicating a code that has already been used for another client.

  4. Place of birth, like Director ID, is a field that is important for any individual clients who are company officeholders. Rather than having to keep this record in an external software, ideally we would have all the information about a client in one place, and as such, would appreciate a "PLACE OF BIRTH" field somewhere in the client record to facilitate this.

  5. In other accounting management software, you can allocate WIP to a previously posted invoice. This is a really handy feature which prevents WIP being written off if a job has already been invoiced and no further invoices will be raised.
    It helps with budgeting and KPI's (preventing WIP writeoff).
    There are enough times when it has been needed, e.g. after a job has been completed and invoiced, and new information comes to light requiring a re-work.

  6. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  10. It would be great to be able to move timesheet entries between tasks/jobs from within a draft invoice.

    Currently if an employee has allocated time to incorrect job or task, it appears the only way to correct this is to delete the invoice, open the job, move the timesheet entry and then create a new draft invoice.

  11. Fixed Assets - Asset Serial Numbers Printing on Depr Schedule
    It would be helpful to have as a print option for the Depreciation Schedule the ability to print asset serial numbers. This is one of the few fields not current able to be selected.

    Application is transport Companies and Engineering Companies which have a high reliance on serial number identification.

  12. We have the AS' downloaded from ATO automatically and this creates a new job for every AS. We then need to add an AS task to every job individually.

    Would be great to be able to add task/s to multiple jobs in one go - similar to how you can assign staff/manager to multiple jobs in one go.

  13. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  15. We need to improve permissions on XPM, I want to provide permission to my managers to their staff members timesheets. The only way I can do this is to give them access is by giving them Access Financial data which really is too high for what we require.
    Only other way is to provide them with a report weekly...

  17. Invoices issued from XPM need to have the ability to have payment services so that clients can click on a Pay Now button and pay the invoice immediately in order to:
    - improve cashflow by collecting monies as soon as possible
    - remove the need to push invoices into blue xero to gain access to Pay Now functionality
    - remove double handling of invoices that practice staff originate in XPM and then operations staff have to issue from blue Xero. Practice staff should be able to manage practice invoices without having to involve operations staff.

  18. Could you please add the field “[Tax Return] Suspended Until” to the fields available when you write an “Income Tax Client – ITCRPT” report.

    This would allow a report of all clients we are ATO Agent for showing their tax return due date, status and suspended until date all on one report.

  19. Is there a way to flag a client, ie Warning/Ban or make them Inactive but keep their history in Xero?

    We have a system that have a number of clients with similar/identical names and we would like flag a client for particular reason, ie account terms etc or ban etc.

  20. Can we please customise client page on XPM to add EMAIL.. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add EMAIL to the page?
    It would cut out alot time opening each page if we had some flexibility to simply add the email address column on the first page.
