  2. I would like to place feedback around user settings, The user permissions are limiting and weird ones seem to go together. Currently all staff can see everyone's timesheets, we we're advised to remove the financial setting under financial privilege's to remove staff access to timesheets, in doing so staff could no longer see budgets on jobs, therefore we had to give all users back that permission, in effect allowing all staff access to everyone's timesheets it just doesn't make sense.

    It would be really handy if we could assign a user group to a staff member instead of having to…

  3. An easier way to schedule tasks. A lot of my clients create annual jobs with lots of tasks and want to be able to schedule tasks in the same way you can allocate staff. You hit a button and schedule all the tasks in a list with assignable start and due dates. I have more than 40 clients that I am doing implementation and training and XPM support for, and all of them has asked me for an easier way to do task scheduling.

  4. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  5. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

  9. Is it possible to have a "heads up" on what changes are being planned.
    For example, the procedure for client deletions has just been changed so that a client with IRD Number/Tax Return cannot be deleted, with no notification to us as users that the change was being contemplated, let alone actually happened.
    This then leaves us asking for the change to be undone.
    If been advised beforehand, could have suggested options which be suitable to all parties and mean that reprogramming is not required.

    We're enjoying the new Job Manager screen in XPM but would love it even more if there was a value column added to show the $$ amount of the time budget. For example, it's great to know there's still 30% available time but what amount is left and more importantly if the time budget is 115% what is the amount over budget.

  12. Time Sheet Calendar.
    One of the best features of APS is the ability to enter time in a calendar view. You can specify the time units ie 6min, 10 min etc and it presents a week on view for you to add time aka MS Outlook Calendar.

    have one section for internal notes on the client that can be updated
    - Files can be attached but not updated
    - Notes in a Report Text Box are only specific to that report
    Need a permanent place that I can add notes, instructions, updates to my staff dealing with a client

  15. Have a multi tick box option for custom fields to be able to select more than one option.
    i.e. we are a multi disciplinary accounting firm and offer multi different services such as advisory, tax, bookkeeping etc and won't to be able to identify what the client has engaged us for [frequently it's more than one service]

  16. To make it easier to create jobs in XPM it would be useful to have a link to create a new job once you have unsuccessfully searched to see if there is a job already set up for the client. At present you have to log out of job search then create a new job, which involves finding the client name again.

  17. We'd like the ability to import job budgets at the time of importing new jobs. The budget field seems to be a standard field for jobs, so I see there would be no reason we can't add the budget at the same time of the import.

  18. When preparing an invoice, it would be great if you could replace the radio buttons with check boxes within tasks and also be able to bulk update the Billable status on timesheet entries within a task to Yes, No or Future.
    If you have a task with a lot of timesheet entries, and you only want to bill a few of them, it's very time consuming to have to select one by one to change the Billable status to Future.

  19. In the timesheets window, a button which takes you back to todays timesheet.

    I often have to scroll back, and prepare prior period timesheets, and so it would be handy to have a "today" button, which will automatically return you to the current days timesheet - rather than having to scroll forward (similar to handisoft practice manager).

  20. It would be great to see the tax refund/payable next to the tax return in the client view, tax returns tab, saves opening up the tax form. Would also be good to see the assigned staff member in the jobs tab in client view, saves clicking into job.
