  1. When adding invoices through HubDoc when there is a new contact that needs to be added, it would be great if the option to create a new contact (supplier or customer) was available in HubDoc, rather than having to start typing in the contact filed & then having to wait for HubDoc/Xero to catch up.

  2. I like how Hubdoc separates the data extraction to "Transaction Details" such as Supplier, Amount and Date. from "Destination Details" Such as Account code and contact..

    We use Tags on the app to create Folders in hubdoc that organise team Expenses & Budgets.

    It would be good to be able to set additional Folder/Tag settings in hubdoc that could over ride the Global Supplier settings in hubdoc when a tag is added.

    Allowing for the Suppler to remain the same but the contact, Tax rate, account and tracking categories to be applied from the Tag/Folder settings.

  3. It would be good if I could setup a google drive file/directory where we can drop invoices into it and they are automatically uploaded to Hubdoc. Other products do this but I would like to fully migrate

  5. Search Receipts for tracking code. Tracking code is usually an address/ location/ or some key word about a product line. The list is known for each customer. Why can't the AI check for words matching the tracking code list and suggest the correct one.

    Competitors can do this and have gone as far as blogging about the ML methods to do this.

    Hello everyone, I want to get a better understanding of this idea here. Would you think that this can be achieved by selecting the 'Mark as Paid' checkbox? Because if you’ve ticked the box, the document that you’ve published as draft, will change the into Awaiting payment status in Xero - See our article here for more information.

  8. I want to see in Hubdoc which receipts have been reconciled in Xero.
    Currently there is no way to know which receipts are reconciled with charges from credit card and which are not, except that I re-publish and get an error of not being able to re-publish because the transactions have been reconciled. For credit card reconciliation, NOT all purchases from vendor will be charged immediately

    Hello Trang, you can tag multiple documents at once by holding ctrl/cmd on your keyboard. Note that you'll need to create the tag first before you can do this - Read more on our article for more information. 

    Because Hubdoc can't bulk update the documents to be "Mark as paid" right now, I've changed the title of your idea, so we can see the interest from the community here :)

  13. It would be useful if a notification was sent when any document was uploaded. Currently, there are supplier level notifications but when there is something that has been uploaded (jpg, memo, etc) and the system is unable to identify it to a supplier it dumps it to the failed tab which at present does not create any notification.

  15. Hubdoc allows you to download all documents in a folder, and Hubdoc also allows you to download to CSV some document metadata. It would be very useful if Hubdoc had the ability to download documents by folder or by Tag, and further, if Hubdoc had the ability to download the Tags associated with a document when downloading the metadata.

  16. At the moment there is a glaring issue with Xero files and HubDoc files, that the subscriber/owner of each can be different, even though the HubDoc file is integrated with the Xero file and is "paid for" by virtue of the Xero subscription.

    This means it's possible for someone to lose access to their HubDoc account, even if they are the subscriber of their Xero file. Nightmare.

  17. Extract tax amount from the invoice. This is required for compliance with VAT amount recorded in accounts must match what is on the invoice

    Extracted Amount requires a manual entry of VAT amount. This is misleading as "extracted" suggests the amount has been extracted from the invoice.

    20% on expenses option calculates from the NET AMOUNT or backwards from the GROSS AMOUNT, this is incorrect as the may not match VAT amount on invoice specifically where there are non or zero vat amounts

  18. Allow upload of Excel (.xls .xlsx) document.
    Many suppliers supply their invoice in an excel format, Before they can be uploaded into Hubdoc they need to be converted to PDf.

  19. We are starting to utilise the Xero email function to push PDF attachments through to files, to then either raise a bill or spend money.

    For ease could it be possible to show the number of documents that need attention ie. Files (8) when we drop down on the client name?

  20. In the HubDoc there is a default setting with a checkbox always marked (active) for "save configuration".

    A lot of mistakes are made because old text is saved and reused when it shouldn't.

    It's better if there is no text instead of wrong text.

    Therefore the default should be unchecked (off) for this "save configuration" checkbox because it causes a lot of problems when the wrong text is saved to XERO.
