Hubdoc - Publish receipt to existing Xero bill
Allow Hubdoc to publish a receipt to an existing 'BILL' in Xero without creating and new transaction and duplicating the amount. Failure to do this forces the user to upload the receipt directly into Xero files instead or opt not to use the BILL feature in Xero and publish transitions in real time from Hubdoc instead. For those wishing to have all their receipts in a magical shoe box in the cloud (Hubdoc) it appears that this would be a way forward.

I agree if we could direct do it. However, you can push it to files and then open the entry in Xero and grab it from Xero Files. Josh you just need to turn on push to files in the setting of Hubdoc.

This would be such huge improvement!
Our large purchases are done with a PO, we then copy it to a draft bill so it shows in planned costs in the project module.
This also allows us to verify the suppliers invoice to the PO we sent before paying.
There's currently no way to store those in hubdoc without generating a new bill which breaks the entire flow of the purchase.

Quickbooks has this facility and it is really useful. It means when suppliers send in their expense claims, I can forward the invoice and receipts all in one go from one email and then attach each receipt to the one expenses entry.
