  1. Could you make the app more user-friendly by reducing the need to log in every time or Ideally, Face ID should be an option for quick access.

    Also, when we receive invoices from Xero, could they be sent as PDF attachments rather than just links? This would make it easier to forward them to Hubdocs via email. Thanks!

  2. It would be fantastic to attach more than one file when publishing from Hubdoc to Xero! Often bills come with supporting documentation, such as contracts and/or receipts. It would be great to be able to attach these, as well as the original bill to be published.

  3. Bulk archive option for any contact either supplier and customer with no activity after 2 years or at least being able to run a report for the same inactivity (Smart list does not offer the options needed)

  4. When emailing receipts to Hubdoc, anything written in the email title or body should stay with the receipt. Currently, Hubdoc turns one email into 2 uploads. One upload is the email. One upload is the receipt. It is nearly impossible to know which email matches which receipt. The result is that important documentation is lost. For example, my clients often email a receipt to Hubdoc for meals and they write who was present at the meal and the business purpose into the email's title or body. Those details are required by the IRS but the current Hubdoc system does not…

  6. FINTECH requires Xero’s Contact ID for integration, but the Contact ID isn’t included in the contact export. They must be manually copied from the URL, which is slow and error prone.

  7. Hubdoc. Options to post to Xero are Purchase, Spend money, Invoice (AP) and credit note.
    Can we have a received money option as well please so that I can enter say bar takings from an end of day till report straight to the Tills cash reconciliation report.?

    Thanks for all your engagement on this idea. We understand that the option to post receive money transactions from Hubdoc is important to all who've supported this, however we want to be transparent that this isn't a feature we're currently working on.

  8. In Xero, under All contacts, would be great if we & please add had more columns or choices to add certain column of attributes of the contact showing if they are in a group, and possibly a last action date of last transaction, so that any can be easily Archived, when they haven't been accessed in a long while.   9. Please provide functionality in Xero to turn off the contact name suggestions when creating an invoice, bill, receive money or spend money transaction. This is very frustrating especially if you make a mistake and it saves it, it is there forever. Also the list can get quite long. We need to delete the names that are not required anymore from the list. Please, please fix this issue up.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback here. As you may have noticed we have made some changes to the Contact field within new invoicing over the past few months to improve the experience.

    When entering a contacts name, the contact's shown are results from your existing contact record.

    As a start to help with cleaning up contacts that have been created in error you can either edit contact records, or merge contacts that may have been created as duplicates in error. This will help limit the number of contacts that are appearing in results when you type a contacts name on an invoice.

  10. Stop dating in 1900s.
    Today I typed in the date 5/3/25. Click on the little calendar that appears, the month says March 25. Click on 5 March 25.

    Hubdoc interprets this as the year 1925.

    I dont think there are many people entering receipts from 100 years ago.
    Please remove those last century calendars from Hubdoc.

    While you fix that, since the Hubdoc file is linked to a Xero file can you also stop hubdoc processing into a closed year. It warns you AFTER it's been sent to Xero, then doesn't let you correct it because of the status -…

    It's best if an idea is specific to one feature request so that others know what they're voting for and to help product better understand the interest for a feature.

    We have a separate idea around the lock dates that I've just added your vote for across here. We don't have any plans for this but if any are made I'll let you know, there.

  12. Configure Publish As options to exclude some options.
    We never post Sales Invoices, but sometimes supplier invoices are incorrectly publish as Invoice(AR).
    This is lengthy to undo.
    I would like to configure HubDoc to exclude the Invoice(AR) option

  13. Please make it possible to allocate expenses to any bank account while in hubdoc. That way a lot of time is saved when reconciling transactions to the bank account.

  14. When converting a pdf to csv, the platform will high-light the extracted lines so that you can see any MISSED lines that you need to manually add to the csv before importing. If you leave that screen, however, and proceed to download your csv, those high-lights disappear and you have no way to get them back. There should be a way to download the high-lighted pdf, get the high-lights back, or at the very least a warning to the user to capture this data now or lose it forever once you proceed to download your csv.

  15. Make a force sync button from Xero to Hubdoc.
    E.g. adding a new account in Xero takes a while for it to eventually show in Hubdoc.
    Unless you have to disable and reactivate the Xero-Hubdoc link

    Why not a button, that just 'force sync' the new chart of accounts into Hubdoc?

  16. We are a small business that has just started using Xero, but already have 400+ contacts. Would love the ability to filter the contact list. For example, filter by country (show me all contacts in the UK, USA, etc.), filter by creation date or updated date (show me all contacts created in the last 30 days), etc.

    There is no way to sort and filter the contacts, just endless scrolling through a long list.

    Functionality feature that may not be critical to business operations, but it would make life a bit easier!

    Hi Brian, appreciate it's not a direct filter option like you're asking here however if you often need to filter by say country or another aspect of your Contact perhaps you may consider creating Contact groups? This way you'd be able to click on the group within contacts when you need.

    Being open we don't have any direct plans for adding more filtering to the Contact list atm, but we'll continue to track your idea here and share if there are any plans made.

  17. Have a record / copy of the debtors statement email attached to the contact profile so you can see the history for debtors management.

  18. We have dozens of parent companies with underlying subsidiaries who place separate orders for separate locations, all under the parent company's credit line/name. These all split into different contacts in Xero when they come in from our order processing system. We need Xero to support hierarchies/parent-child relationships/nested orders, so that all purchases can be aggregated to the parent company, both for tracking overall credit use and for sending consolidated statements that include all purchases from all "children". We work with BigCommerce who has a BundleB2B feature that allows these kind of parent-child hierarchies on the client-facing side, but we can't…

  19. If we cannot put a warning against the bad payers, surely it cannot be that hard to be able to change the customers business names into another color (Red) So when you search or create a new invoice, alarm bells will ring and hopefully avoid more loss

    Hi Todd, have you seen credit limits? These will allow you to set a limit to how much spending a customer can make with your business. When they reach that limit you can also choose whether to restrict invoicing for that customer. This may help with the scenario you're noting here.

  20. Be able to set up default coding for the Document Type to always be Receipt, and Document Status to always be Awaiting Payment. This at present isn't possible within Hubdoc.
