smart document capture over 10 pages
I'm really enjoying the smart document capture feature. It has been very useful so far. However, the one downside I have found is that it is limited to documents (in my case, invoices) with maximum 10 pages. Quite frequently I must process invoices with many line items which usually comes in well over 20+ pages. While the smart document capture does process the entire invoice as 1 line item, I actually require each individual line item to be present in the bill so I can monitor the purchasing activity for these specific products. Hubdoc - App Face ID
Could you make the app more user-friendly by reducing the need to log in every time or Ideally, Face ID should be an option for quick access.
Also, when we receive invoices from Xero, could they be sent as PDF attachments rather than just links? This would make it easier to forward them to Hubdocs via email. Thanks!

Contacts - Bulk Archive option if inactive for an extended time
Bulk archive option for any contact either supplier and customer with no activity after 2 years or at least being able to run a report for the same inactivity (Smart list does not offer the options needed)

To be able to add the contract to a group directly from the New Contact page.
To be able to add a new contact to a group from edit contact
Currently you can only add group from the main Contacts page

Keep files in library
Have an option to keep a file in the library such as Term & Conditions to add to Quotes or have a default Terms section instead of an empty box.

Contact bank change
If a staff member changes a bank account for a creditor, the confirmation email (automatic xero alert) should be sent to that person (as it is now), but also to another person. This would make sure a check is in place to verify the bank details are correct, and not a fraudulent change. 99% of the time it is probably correct, but this would help fraud.

Invoice Address. When exporting invoices to. csv file it would be beneficial to have customer address in the file also

Reduce file size of image captures
Noticed the new files are saved as large sized images e.g. 4mb. The previous files reduced the file size to around 100 to 200kb. Handy to have the reduced file size as if downloaded can save to PDF and easily upload to other apps e.g. Job apps. Large files are sometimes not accepted to these apps. cheers

Files - Quickly add new contacts directly from Files uploads
Currently if a file is uploaded for a Contact that doesn't exist in Xero, we have to open a new tab to manually add the Contact. Could a button or hyperlink be added to the transaction screen in the File section that will open a new page or pop up to add the Contact? This will reduce clicks and increase efficiency. Bonus if we can "quick add" where just the Contact name is added by clicking a button in File. Another bonus if the Contact add screen autopopulates as much info from the File that it can (vendor or customer…

Files to be accessible by invoice only users
At present the file library can only be accessed by Standard or Advisor user profiles.
When you have purchase ledger roles using the Invoice Only user profile, they should be able to see the file library in order to user Smart Document Capture.
This seems like an oversight and would make life easier for employees in clerk roles.

New creating transaction from file
I like the new way we can generate a transaction from within Files.
However, for those of us who use Items, this option is not available. Is this on the radar to be included?

Smart Document Capture - add credit note to drop down for document type
We often receive individual tax adjustment notes/credit notes from suppliers and I forward these to my inbox. If there was the option to select the document type as credit note from the Smart Document Capture pane, it would save me having to navigate to bills, new credit note and manually attaching the file to the transaction. This feature would streamline the processing of files within my inbox.

I like the idea of the Smart Document Capture and being able to add a lot more information, but when I scan a document to files I JUST need to be able to rename it. Hubdoc - Attach multiple documents when publishing from Hubdoc
It would be fantastic to attach more than one file when publishing from Hubdoc to Xero! Often bills come with supporting documentation, such as contracts and/or receipts. It would be great to be able to attach these, as well as the original bill to be published.

Hubdoc - Keep email text with the receipts.
When emailing receipts to Hubdoc, anything written in the email title or body should stay with the receipt. Currently, Hubdoc turns one email into 2 uploads. One upload is the email. One upload is the receipt. It is nearly impossible to know which email matches which receipt. The result is that important documentation is lost. For example, my clients often email a receipt to Hubdoc for meals and they write who was present at the meal and the business purpose into the email's title or body. Those details are required by the IRS but the current Hubdoc system does not…

Contact List - View contact group and last activity date
In Xero, under All contacts, would be great if we & please add had more columns or choices to add certain column of attributes of the contact showing if they are in a group, and possibly a last action date of last transaction, so that any can be easily Archived, when they haven't been accessed in a long while. Hubdoc - Set date to current century
Stop dating in 1900s.
Today I typed in the date 5/3/25. Click on the little calendar that appears, the month says March 25. Click on 5 March 25.Hubdoc interprets this as the year 1925.
I dont think there are many people entering receipts from 100 years ago.
Please remove those last century calendars from Hubdoc.While you fix that, since the Hubdoc file is linked to a Xero file can you also stop hubdoc processing into a closed year. It warns you AFTER it's been sent to Xero, then doesn't let you correct it because of the status -…
