May I have an update please. It is important to my small LLP to have this capability. It will save so much "old fashioned" paper documentation and postage!!

I am the bookkeeping partner in a Limited Liability Partnership. I'm currently doing the Partnership Tax Return on paper which is a pain since I do my own and everyone else's personal tax on-line.
I'd like a clear statement of when Xero is going to be able to support SA800s please.

What do you mean by ordinary partnerships?

Can we have an update on this please? This is a fundamental function of tax software and not having partnership return is a basic flaw with Xero.

Please can I have an update on this, it's critical for my business and I need to plan if it not going to be ready by August

Mandy Roger commented
I have been advised by my account manager that partnership returns are in the second 'beta testing' phase at the moment and that they will be ready for launching in the summer time (by August 2024 at the latest). I do hope this is the case, as I now have a lot of clients who are partnerships.

I am a new user of Xero. It is by far the most useful accounting software I've seen. However, my business is a UK Limited Liability Partnership which needs to submit annual Partnership tax returns, SA800. But Xero can't do it at the moment. Are there any plans to enable this process in Xero?

Can you please let your xero partners have an update on when SA800 partnership returns will be enabled within xero for submission to HMRC?
We would really appreciate an update on this.

I now have many partnerships in my client portfolio. Partnership accounts & returns are now crucial for my practice & I will have to use other software if xero do not manage to deliver a solution. Can you please provide an update on this?

Hi @hannah G is there any more news on partnership tax returns and the roll out?

The ability for partnership tax return SA800 in Xero would be crucial for Xero being my one-stop accounting software. Look forward to an update soon!

Is there any news on when Xero will be scheduling in this piece of work? Will partnership tax return submissions within xero be included in the 2024 roadmap?

Hi Hannah, do you have any updates regarding this?

Joanne clark commented
I would of thought with the cost that we are incurring that Xero would have the facility to submit partner accounts.

Xero is shown on the approved list of software providers with HMRC to file a UK partnership return. i have four clients who are affected by this and we will be foreced to find alternative software providers if this is not urgently added well in advance of the tax deadline here in the UK of January.
Poor show -

it is really annoying that Xero does not mind to take customer on, even though they are partnerships. New LLP approached me with Xero subscription already. I understand money and all, especially when organisation becomes so huge like Xero, they do not care as long as they have money floating in. I do not want to disappoint my new clients, will work something out of course, but it is not fair.

I don't understand why this is not a high priority and is not even in development yet? There is clearly a customer need and has been said already it's an obvious next step in enabling practices to be a fully efficient in using Xero as an end-to-end product. More assurance needs to be made as to whether this is even possible for 31st January or not and if not what the timescale is likely to be.
