Changes in Employee Superfund ABN, USI number etc
AU - Compulsory Employee Super When a Employee Superfund changes ABN, USI number, merges with another fund.
The only solution at moment is to export the employee data into a file and save it. Then deactivate the Superfund. The problem is if you have a query on these past transactions you cannot do it through Xero. If you a subjected to an audit you cannot generate report for the data prior to the date of the changes made to the super fund. If you have been through an audit this creates a lot of work. Also, if you lose this report you are in real strife.
I am suggesting that Xero make changes to their software so that we can create the new entity for the Superfund and migrate or link ithe history to the new entity so if you need to search a past transaction or need information for an audit it would be easily accessed.

Thanks Carmine for this article. So with the merger of CareSuper and Spirit I was thinking of deactivating the current CareSuper listing I have, then create a new one with the new USI, glad I come across this first though. Seems the only way to do it then is by exporting the data first then deleting?
