  3. The dividends are not sorted alphabetically in the return, although they are sorted in the prefill. Can we have the ability to sort fields included in the individual tax return worksheets, such as Item 11 Dividends, Item D5 Other work Expenses, and other similar fields.
    This will make it easier to check and compare, and it looks much more professional.

  4. It would be a great help if you could insert a field into the activity page which includes the property address that the invoice is for, so that this would be clear which property the invoice relates to rather than having to go into each invoice to see which property it is for.

  5. It would be good if you could copy and paste from a document in HUBDOC. Like you can from any pdf format document.

    eg If I enter an invoice in HUBDOC it would be good if I could go back to it and copy and paste the bank details into Xero like you can from any pdf document.

  6. So annoying to open an archived workpaper pack, want to check a document that was attached to an account and you can't! Have to scroll down and find it amongst all of the attached documents from that whole workpaper. Nightmare!

  7. why can't Xero resolve this. I assume it will be worked on to provide full functionality afterall it is common for companies to buy electric cars.

  8. Productivity Reports

    I am using report builder to create a productivity report for my staff. What i would like to show on the report is:

    Capcity reducing time + billable time + non-billable time = total time for week

    I would then like a productivity percentage calculated as billable time / (billable + non-billable).

    I would also like this report to have a YTD actual column and YTD budget column so that on one report I can see how productivity as been for the most recent week but also YTD on the on the report.

  11. PAYG Instalments Estimates pre-ticked

    The Print PAYG Instalments payable on the individual tax return Estimate page defaults as "No". This needs to be manually turned on, and even if the client has generated instalments it will not appear on the tax return unless manually selected. Preparers and reviewers may miss this. If it was set on as default then it would not be missed.

  12. Since the creation of the new Job Manager, we are now unable to bulk add new staff members to staff allocations within a job.

    You can bulk add the jobs, but then you need to manually do the job allocations for each job

    When you have a new staff member and you want to assign them to 300 jobs, it would make it easier if we could do this in bulk rather than on a job by job basis.

  13. When going through tax payment letters it can be useful to make a note i.e spoken with client re tax or checked IRD. However, once the tax payment is approved it cannot be edited or deleted and also will not remain in the notes box but rather provisional tax history.

  14. As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.

    One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details.   16. XPM include archived clients in XERO search / list endpoints. Similarly, to how contacts in the accounting API are handled by passing the includeArchived=true query. This will allow clients from XPM with a status of ARCHIVED to be included in the response.

  18. Regarding XPM > BUSINESS > SETTINGS > IMPORT

    can you make the function similar to blue xero bank feed import? Namely,
    - in blue xero, it gives you a preview of what the import file will look like on the bank account before clicking import?

    • one time i mixed up the job name with the client name field. and instead of warning or coming up with the error, it just created new clients upon import. I had to delete so many incorrect clients created from that job import

    Hi Christopher, few ideas rolled up in the one here. We ask that each idea be separate on the product ideas forum so others in the community know exactly what they're voting for and we can share with the correct product teams, and keep you updated on any progress on the site. 

    Also appreciate you referencing your case numbers with Xero Support however they don't really help others in the community. 

    For your idea on adding more fields to the report - we have another here that you may like to also join and vote on. 

    I'll update your idea here to reflect your second request for being able to open a clients tax return form within Practice Manager.

  20. In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.
