AU Tax - IF fields in Cover Letters
Would like the option to input IF fields into our tax returns like we can in Activity Statements. I have found I have so much more scope in editing my cover letters by putting in IF fields (eg IF the amount is payable, put in the line about the payment details. IF the due date is already past, replace the date with 'As soon as possible' etc)
It would be great in general to see more functionality in the cover letters - especially more merge field options, IF fields, and other extra lines depending on certain criteria within the return…2 votes -

- Practice Manager | Client - Copy a client (including all contacts)
- Practice Manager - Regular syncing of "Clients" to Xero Blue "Contacts"
If not, would you mind providing a few more details so myself and other users can better understand and upvote it? It'll also mean I can make sure it gets in front of the right product people at Xero 😊

NZ Tax - Automatically select 'Split Provisional 50/50' for clients.
It would be helpful if XPM could automatically select 'Split Provisional 50/50' for clients since the system already has the information from the IRD to do this. This would stop clients future provisional tax showing incorrectly on a current tax return and in tax payment reminders and would instead ensure the figures advised to pay agreed to the IRD's figures without us having to manually intervene.

Reports - Highlight previously viewed transaction on list/report
Restore function where the previously viewed transaction is highlighted in a darker or different colour so you know where you are on a list of transactions. It used to be there but it has now gone :(

UK Payroll - Allocate payments for Current Assets and Liabilities
When you post payments into Current Assets or Current Liabilities you are then able to allocate these payments off against transactions. For example PAYE, We pay this monthly so when you post the payment against the liability you can then allocate this off. You can then have an option to view allocated and unallocated lines.

XPM: Include 'Client Type' field in the csv template for bulk upload
The Client Type field is for segmentation of clients, but it isn't able to have data imported into it. Please change this so that we can import client segment data into the Client Type field.

Practice Manager | Clients - Bulk look up and update
When will we have an option to update all client emails/phone numbers at the same time?
It would be really helpful if the system would search for all 'same' emails or phone numbers and allow for these all to be updated/amended.30 votes -
Find and recode sort by other columns
Currently you can click the Inv Ref field in a results list from a search in Find & Recode and it will add a little ^ symbol to indicating it is sorting by that column.
It's not.
It's sorting by the date column.
Same if you click it again and get a \/ symbol.
Xero said that it's working as designed 🥴
Fix this madness and either remove the ability to click the column and the suggestion it's sorting (the ^ symbol) or make it work (sort by that column).

new title mx
XPM does not cater for titles for non-binary individuals. We have an individual who is non-binary. Their title is MX. This is currently not an option that is available in the Title drop down menu. Can this be added by Xero please?

XPM - Option to upload Xero Ask attachments to Xero Files
An option to have uploaded files in Ask to be added to Files. Currently have to be downloaded and then uploaded again to Files. It would be more efficient to have the option to add directly to Files

Xero Practice Manager - Ability to delete client
Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).
While could delete the IRD Number and all Tax Returns from the Client, then delete, this could be a long process (as…3 votes -
Report revenue by state - by picking up postcode on invoice.
A % state by state breakdown of turnover is required for professional indemnity insurance policies for accountants. It would be great if Xero allowed us to do a report by state picking up the postcodes off the invoices.

Practice Manager | Reports - Sort by Staff in WIP Ledger
Would be great if we could sort by staff in the WIP Ledger reports. We can select staff it in the fields but not criteria. Would be good to provide reports to managers for their staff only.

Job Manager - Show completed employee's tasks for jobs with multiple staff allocation
On JOB MANAGER - If more than one staff member is allocated to a job with multiple tasks a icon / green tick / should be added next to a persons name or the name should be highlighted if all their tasks in that specific job is completed. That will help with recon process for managers, without having to go into the job every time to see which staff member has to still complete their tasks.
AS ATTACHED IMAGE - OUR PRACTICE WILL NOW KNOW ANEL HAS COMPLETED ALL THE TASKS ASSIGNED TO HER IN THIS SPESIFIC JOB WITHOUT NEEDING…
