XPM - Add the ability to insert {year} or {ClientName} so that it prefills into the job when we create a new job
It would save so much time if we could prefill year into the job name when we create a new job, and client name into the description so that when the description prefills into the invoice it specifies the entity.

Any user can send tax letters, but the reply to email address can be set as one specific email (much like in blue xero)For example:
staff1@accountingfirm.co.nz sends provisional tax reminders to clients, but when clients receive the tax reminder email, the reply to address is admin@accountingfirm.co.nzThis same feature is already available in Blue Xero when sending invoices

Practice Manager - Bulk option to Write Off Balance for 'Xero Export Failed' zero-balance invoices
Where $nil value invoices are pushed to our "Xero Export Failed" list, it would be great to be able to select all $nil balance invoices in the "Xero Export Failed" list, and "Write Off Balance" in bulk. Currently we need to go into each invoice, one at a time, and select "Write Off Balance"

Report Templates - Stakeholder Opening Balance
Calculated Opening Balance on partner accounts (bold line), plus OB for conversion year showing on a separate line. It would be practical to merge this two, but the calculated OB line can't be merged into a group. Instead opening balances prior conversion year must be entered in an unbalanced journal - looked up manual - ok, but just unusual and I have spent too much time on contacting Xero Support and finding this solution.
Merging the two OB lines would be a much quicker way.1 vote -
XPM group view - Main email
Hi Support,
When you view a group in XPM it shows you the recipients, the phone and address fields, it would be amazing if the mail email address was also displayed.

Xero Tax AU- Add 'Notes' feature on individual line items
Xero Tax currently allows adding notes only on the cover page (character limit of 140) and on D1 (motor vehicle expense).
It would be great if we could add explanatory notes (and simple calculations) on each of the line items if need be. I moved from Sage Handisoft to Xero and can't comprehend why such a useful and simple feature is not there in Xero. It would reduce the burden of creating additional workpapers for simple returns and will be handy even for the complex ones.

Practice Manager | Report - Starred Clients
Is it possible to have the starred clients as feature in reports? If we export a client list, we can't see which clients are the 'starred' (main contact for the group in our case). It would be super handy when trying to get a list of our main contacts and easily remove the clients that aren't starred.

User Roles: Set time limit on access
We are currently reviewing our staff access, and have realised that it is currently a labourious process when a staff member only temporarily needs access to a ledger e.g. technical help, auditor access, to cover sick/holiday leave.
It would be great to be able to set a time limit for access when staff or users when they are added e.g. 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, or on a given date. This would save practice managers having to keep note of when users needed to be removed and having to do that all manually.

XPM Invoices - Budget field on invoicing page
Can we please have the budget listed on the invoicing page under a job when you produce a final invoice.
Currently there is job, name and description listed on this page but not budget.

Xero Tax(UK) - save a default signature for accountants' report
Ability to add a default accountant's signature in the accountants' report. This would mean that the we do not have to sign each and every report before sending to client to approve and sign the balance sheet.

Invoicing: Include original bill as attachment when expensing on to client
I would like to be able to attach a bill that has been expensed to a client to the client's invoice so that if client would like to view the expense bills it is available to them.

NZ Tax - Bulk create GST/Tax returns for the period/year
Currently we have to create GST/Tax returns one at a time for our entire list. It would be great if we can create gst returns on the gst jobs in one go so we don't miss any on the outstanding report.

Hubdoc - Ability to also flag duplicates when the invoice number is the same
Currently Hubdoc only flags an invoice as a duplicate if the supplier, invoice date AND invoice amount exactly match. This means if any of these are adjusted or Hubdoc doesn't pick up the exact correct details, the invoice wouldn't be flagged as a duplicate and could be double booked or worse double paid.
Hubdoc should flag an invoice as a duplicate if the invoice number is the same too. Yes there are rare scenarios where two suppliers issue an invoice such as '001', but it's much better for this to be flagged as a duplicate and reviewed, than actual duplicate…

Practice Manager | Client reporting - Field mapping
Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.
For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.
It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

Practice Manager | Recurring Jobs - 2 date fields (Issue date & work start date)
It would be useful to have two dates for recurring jobs - one on which the recurring job is generated and a second date for when the work is to be started. We like to have all of our annual jobs generate on 1 April so we can easily see what work is outstanding for the year, received or not, but we obviously can't start everything in April. The planning aspects of XPM would be more useful if we could set the jobs to generate on 1 April then input a start date of when we are likely to start…
