  2. New to be able to run a report to show checks paid out each month, sortable by each bank account. Date - Payee - Check Number - Transaction Amount - Status (Reconciled / Unreconciled), Total dollar amount of checks written for the month, as well as total dollar amount of checks unreconciled for the month. It would be nice to have the voided checks fall to the bottom as well. I have attached a copy of one I make in excel every month since Xero doesn't have this report.

  3. Be able to set priority on recurring tasks. It's ridiculous having recurring jobs which you then have to set the priority every time it pops up, it makes setting the recurring job almost ridiculous.

  4. Could you make the app more user-friendly by reducing the need to log in every time or Ideally, Face ID should be an option for quick access.

    Also, when we receive invoices from Xero, could they be sent as PDF attachments rather than just links? This would make it easier to forward them to Hubdocs via email. Thanks!

  6. AUTOMATIC SUBMISSION OF A RETURN WITH THE "DEFERRAL" DATE ALLOCATED

    It is a critical feature on a system we transition from to XERO tax, to be able to allocate to a finalized return a deferred date for the submission. On such and such date, all returns with that date and tag then come up, and with a touch of a single button all go to the ATO at the same time. The deferral function is critical where the client's return has a large tax bill, for example, and the client has other ways of utilizing the funds and keeping them…

  8. Please can the corporation tax computation include a calculation of the marginal relief.

    This would need to include the amount of associated companies and the calculation of the marginal relief amount rather than just showing the total of marginal relief.

  9. Please add ability to reorder accounts (lines) on a workpaper in Xero Workpaper. This is painful both for automatically populating workpapers (which go in the impractical alphabetical order) and custom workpapers (where every new line is added at the bottom...).

  10. Would be great to create a report in XPM that shows client bank details so we can identify clients that are missing bank details and need to be followed up. This would also avoid the issue with tax returns being lodged with no bank details recorded.

  12. It would be ideal to have the ability to remove yourself from a practice in XPM. For example, if you are consulting to a firm and they aren't maintaining their staff list and removing access promptly when the contract is complete, you would be able to have more control over the security of a file and keeping your list of practices clean by being able to remove yourself from their practice.

  16. Within the report code descriptions, identifying which IR10 Key Point for NZ tax the report code will feed through to.

    E.g.
    Non-deductible entertainment will go to "Box/Key Point 24 - Other Expenses" and "Box 28 Tax Adjustments"

    This will give a little bit more visibility as to where each item will end up, particularly for the balance sheet.

    If you can segregate this visibility to NZ only files as well, that would be beneficial for other countries not getting information not relevant for them.

  17. It would be very useful to be able to search bank rules for an account code, since account codes cannot be archived/deleted if there is an associated bank rule. I eventually found the relevant bank rule but it was very time consuming to go through each bank rule individually - there can be hundreds of bank rules.

  18. It would be great if we could have the option of a display name as legal name for all entity types and not just individuals to help differentiate different entities with the same name. For example, we have a few trusts that share the same name but are completely separate entities belonging to different client groups and it can make it hard to tell those apart at a glance.

  19. Similarly to iFirm, would be great to be able to make amendments to the return in Xero, mark it as an amendment, and then file from Xero rather than having to make the amendment in MyIR, then make the same amendment to the already filed tax return in Xero. Makes it harder to keep track of what has been done.

  20. I would like a small change where the Accumulated Depreciation is a default column in the depreciation schedules report generated from Xero. I work with a significant number of clients who we run depreciation for each year and I would like to see the Accumulated Depreciation amount in the report by default without having to update the templates in every client file.
