  2. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

    This would also be particularly beneficial for businesses who have frequent changes in their sellingโ€ฆ

  3. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  4. Would it be possible to have a report that shows the bank transactions and the bill/invoices that it was reconciled with? It's time consuming to check transactions one by one just to find a transaction that was incorrectly reconciled. Please see below example for your reference.

  6. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  7. We need the ability to issue a cheque and track cheque numbers in currency that is not the home currency. Example CAD is home currency. We have a USD bank account and issue cheques on that USD account but we are unable to confirm the cheques have been issued in sequence as there is no log. We are also unable to issue a cheque from that account.

  8. Iโ€™d like to suggest enabling the ability to fetch bank statements and check images directly, especially since Xero already offers a bank feed feature.

    QuickBooks Online (QBO) includes this functionality, where statements and checks are automatically retrieved and saved in the file section. It would be helpful to have a similar feature in Xero.

  9. Imagine that the worst has happened and the entire board of directors were eaten by sharks on the first day after the year end.

    Currently Xero Tax pulls the list of Directors from Companies House for the year in question, so
    while new directors could be appointed, none of them would be selectable to sign the Director's Report or Balance Sheet in Xero Tax. On the other hand we would be able to select Directors to sign the accounts who in this hypothetical situation were busy being fish food.

    Please change the signatories so it selects from current Directors atโ€ฆ

  11. I would like a small change where the Accumulated Depreciation is a default column in the depreciation schedules report generated from Xero. I work with a significant number of clients who we run depreciation for each year and I would like to see the Accumulated Depreciation amount in the report by default without having to update the templates in every client file.

  14. Have the option to print checks by First Name, Last Name or the other way around rather than according to how contacts are put in. For the contact list, people like LName, FName. For check printing, people prefer FName, LName. I know you can go in and manually override it, but it would be nice to have an automatic selection of how you prefer it.

  15. Problem: When you add a new account to your COA or if your COA gets out of sort, you have to edit every P & L report.
    Wish: To be able to edit once on the COA and have it automatically update all of the P & L reports based on how the COA is set up.

  16. A current limitation of the Invoice Only user permission is that the user cannot add payment services to an invoice. A second user with more expansive permissions must go in to add payment services to the invoice. This is an unnecessary additional step that can slow down the A/R process. Adding "add payment services" as an option under the Invoice Only permission will help to streamline this process for many companies.

  19. To enable employees to add quantities for ordinary hours PLUS quantities for bonus line items in their timesheets - this functionality was previously available. Employees previously were able to be able to submit timesheets with both ordinary hours PLUS bonuses. Now we have to manually enter bonuses.

  20. When a client changes their GST taxable periods (e.g. 2-monthly to 6-monthly filing) they often need to file a return for a non-standard number of months to align with their balance date (e.g. 4-month GST return). It would be nice to be able to change the GST period settings in Xero to allow for the non-standard GST return to be filed directly from Xero.
