Homepage - Add a tracker for deadlines
I would like to set and track deadline dates on the dashboard for each client relating to statutory and other submissions (i.e. provisional tax / monthly management reports / tax return submissions / etc.).

please stop all the pop ups. Just serve them up once and let us get rid of them, they are really annoying.
Please get rid of all these pop-ups or let us turn them off. I am endlessly seeing the automatic payments popup, no I do not want to have people pay through Xero and I'd like to never see it again. The new homepage one comes up every **** time, I just want to be able to see it once and then never see it again because I'm fine with the new home page. These popups take up space on my screen and are intrusive.

Homepage - Bank account Widgets too cluttered
The new homepage is incredibly cluttered, especially for clients with multiple bank accounts. Its very difficult for the eye to differenciate between the different bank accounts. It would be great if the widgets background colours could be changed, thereby making it easier to draw your attention to the right place.

Add a widget for managing quotes. So easier to quickly convert quotes into invoices and view them etc.

Don't change it. It isn't broken and I don't want to be paying for a service that I have to adapt to for no reason.

I cant use this new homepage, I am scared that it will be forced on to me and no longer have the visual functionality that I need for my workflow - You know, just like new invoicing.
What makes this all the more infuriating for me is that I participated in the feedback on a couple of sessions for new homepage and I remember telling them that we must be able to chose the number of coloums we want and have it scalable. Homepage - Keep the old layout or allow option to use old or new layout
I find the new layout has many flaws - my main ones are
Colour choices – I saw Kelly’s comment that the use of red was intentional, however red is one of the most visually fatiguing colours, particularly when used extensively. For users who work in Xero all day, this makes the interface uncomfortable to view for long periods.Size and visual density – The layout is now overly large and visually busy, which makes it harder to work efficiently. The previous layout was far easier on the eyes and allowed information to be absorbed quickly.

More intuitive please
The old homepage was intuitive and user friendly. The new one is not. It is not an improvement. I just want to get to my balance sheet and enter payments and receipts as promptly as possible. Why complicate things? If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Reduce Home Page Clutter with Groupings
It would be helpful to group items on the home page into sections that can be opened and closed.
For example:
All bank accounts under Banking
Finance leases (connected as bank accounts) under Finance Leases
Credit cards under Credit Cards, and
Other/(s)
This would allow users to collapse sections they don’t need and quickly see only what matters to them, making the home page cleaner and easier to use.

Reduced risk of accidental viewing of sensitive information
The new home page is WAY to busy and has information which i do not want employees to see such as the P&L for the year and bank account balances.
The layout seems to move around which makes it hard to find the task at hand.
Recent invoice payments is irrelevant as I would rather know what is outstanding rather than what has been reconciled already.
A simple set of widgets along the top of the home page above the business overview would be very handy....

Clearer bank account view
I like the graph view of the bank accounts as its easier to see trends or anomalies for a quick snapshot of the business which is the main use of the dashboard. The old layout was much clearer in this regard.

Allow separate sections in particular to group bank accounts in new home page
Like others here, I was very disappointed when I switched to the new home page to see such a cluttered mess.
This would be greatly helped by the ability to manage different sections, in particular one section to put all the bank accounts (we have 13+ bank accounts for different Wise currencies) that used to be neatly arranged on the right-hand side.
Also, the ability to leave gaps and fix things to start on a new row - it's currently really hard to arrange anything, because moving one widget moves all the others.

calendar widget
It would be great to have a calendar widget that shows upcoming employee birthdays, holidays and pay days plus ATO due dates and add reminders for upcoming renewals like insurances and car regos etc.

Ease of navigation
It would be very handy if any page where there is long scrolling, such as invoices or the reconciliation page, had a "back to top" button.

Mirror the profit and loss widget in the app
Like others, I think the options listed for profit and loss on the hompage are too restrictive. The app has better options. I want to know where I stand financially including upcoming payments (to distribute profits) so I tend to use the "Finincial year" P&L rather than "year to date". The app has this but the homepage doesn't.

Allow Advisors to specify home screen widgets for users
We have various users from accounts administrator to operations managers and the new home screen will automatically show them extra information they don't necessarily need, as in, the operations managers should ideally have the bills and invoices front and centre and not really each other's credit cards. Also, the profit and loss widget is extremely annoying being there as our management is presented with monthly accrual basis accounts and use a custom P+L that require a large number of journals done so the profit and loss widget is wrong until the journals get done.
