Xero allows bills to be emailed into the system, but not sales invoices.

Many small businesses generate invoices through rental systems, Airbnb managing agents, or external platforms. These invoices must then be manually recreated in Xero, or uploaded via third-party apps like Dext.

For small rental businesses with only one or two properties, paying for extra software isn’t financially viable.

Please introduce a built-in Email-to-Sales-Invoice feature that creates draft sales invoices from emailed PDFs.

This would save time, reduce errors, support small businesses, and close a clear automation gap in Xero.

Create Draft Invoice from Delivery Docket Email, It can be help full when we are using third-party delivery docket application to provide proof of delivery to client same docket can be sent to user specific xero email address to create draft Invoice similar to crate Bills to pay draft invoice entry.

The ability to email in sales invoices to the sales ledger in the same way as we can with purchase invoices.

We are a multidisciplinary firm with each department raising their own sales invoices. I have looked at bulk importing but that doesn't work. We are unable to restrict a users access to just their department on the sales ledger so they cannot raise the invoices direct. Consequently, at the moment each invoice has to be entered manually by the finance department.

We had the functionality in MYOB, yesterday i probably spend close to an hour saving over 100 invoices individually to PDF and then had to email them individually to customers. Not conducive use of time.

Please can we have an inbox email address for draft invoices (like on the bills side of things)

This feature would is important particularly when another CRM or similar software is used for sales invoice generation... Xero please make it happen

I think this is an important addition to Xero. I have a client who will not raise invoices onto xero as he prefers to write them. if i could email the invoice in the same way as the bills it would be such a huge advantage.

This is going to be a necessity for anyone that uses bespoke software for their business. My client runs a day care nursery that issues the sales invoices based upon the attendance register, which could email the sales invoices to Xero when they are emailed to parents.
If this function was available it would remove the need to send each one to Hubdoc to then post as a draft into Xero. It also removes the need to create a csv file which can be too complicated for a client to do.

This would be amazing! Especially as it means you don't need to deal with creating, or maintaining an API connector in early stages!
