Hi team, we want to be upfront here that we don't have any plans to further enhance advanced doc branded templates.
As you may have seen we have recently introduced a new Invoice layout editor that will soon replace the Standard branding in all regions.
Our intentions long term are to develop more functionality into this and expand to other document types to meet the needs of majority of our customers use cases.
That said, if you'd still like to be able to add lines within the standard branding it would be good to get more detail of your business use cases and needs in doing this. This will help others in community associate to your idea and our product teams assess and consider the wider needs as they continue to develop this new experience. Welcome to start a new idea that we can review.

We keep asking for better DOCX support, but unless Xero fixes the core rendering engine first, those new templates will still suffer from blurry logos and stripped fonts. The current v12 engine is a bottleneck for the entire platform. We need a modernized document stack that respects modern security and branding standards.
