Invoice Prefix
I am writing to suggest a feature that would allow for automatic, date-based invoice numbering prefixes. Currently, Xero requires manual updates to the "Invoice Prefix" under Document Settings to reflect a new month or year. Enabling dynamic placeholders would significantly reduce manual administration and prevent sequencing errors. The system should allow users to use date placeholders in the Prefix field (e.g., INV{YY}{MM}).
