Connect with chat gpt
I’d love native Xero integration for ChatGPT. As a business owner, this would be a game changer.
I’d like ChatGPT to be able to:
- Read my Xero data securely (with my permission).
- Analyse profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- create quotes and invoices on the fly.
- ask questions like “How profitable was last month?”, “Which clients owe me money?”, and “What were my biggest expenses this quarter?”
- Compare performance month to month and identify trends.
- Help categorise transactions and suggest improvements.
- Analyse jobs, margins, payroll, and overheads.
- Forecast cash flow and model business decisions.
- Prepare management reports and explain the numbers in plain English.

Thanks for your engagement and sharing other connections you'd like to see Xero develop integrations with - Ideas for app integrations are best shared through our Xero developer ideas forum I've had a quick look but it doesn't appear this has been raised with us yet. I'd recommend raising this with our Developer team, there.
I also just wanted to highlight existing options although not through ChatGPT you can currently connect Claude to Xero for similar use cases and we have JAX your in product AI companion that can also surface valuable insights.
