Xero Files - Archive/Consolidate files by year
I love the Xero filing cabinet as I can put files in there for the accountant and owner to view. However I have been using this cabinet for over 7 years and would like the ability to archive / consolidate by year.

Agree with Jo and Julia,
I find this new inbox set up cumbersome.
I liked being able to see all my folders in one view and this moving files to these folders from the inbox is a pain at times. -

Agree with Jo Russell. I used to simply create a folder under the Inbox with the YE date, and drag and drop to my created folder in one movement. Or I could drag and drop from my computer to the folder I had created. This having to go through the Inbox first is time consuming and annoying. Plus sometimes if I can see immediately in the folder I want to save to that I have saved a previous file - now I have to go into archive, click on the folder, then go back out to the inbox to add a file, then seelct it to move to archive. I much preferred the old one. I think Archive should only be for past folders that are not currently being used, and we should have the option to archive any folder when we are not needing it on a daily basis anymore. The new way is a big time consuming NO from me.

While the new and improved filing is great to enable archiving, I can no longer upload my files directly into the correct folder. Now I need to upload the file into the Inbox and from there allocate it to the Archived folder.
I file my documents into folders and some of these folders are current and some can be archived. As it stands, every single folder is archived. This makes it more difficult to navigate than it used to be.
