Hubdoc - Choose Billable Expense or assign directly to Projects
Project Assigning in Hubdoc. It would be most useful if our accounting team could choose between a Billable Expense and Assign to a Project in Hubdoc. We have many small expenses that have to be assigned to projects, as the client has already paid in most cases. We have to find each one, which is a challenge, open the bill, and assign each one manually. It is so time-consuming. So much processing time. Please consider this, it would be so appreciated.

This would make a significant difference to our workflow as well.
We use Hubdoc because it streamlines accounts payable processing, but having to open every bill again in Xero just to assign it to a Project removes much of that efficiency. For businesses managing a large number of project-related expenses, this extra step adds up to hours of unnecessary administration every week.
Being able to assign a Project (or choose Billable Expense where applicable) directly in Hubdoc before publishing would eliminate duplicate handling, improve data accuracy, and speed up month-end processing. It feels like a natural extension of the existing publishing workflow and would make Hubdoc much more valuable for businesses that rely on Xero Projects.
Please consider prioritizing this feature. It would deliver meaningful time savings for many customers.

This is a must-have for our business. It would save so much time in doing this task manually in Xero after the expense is pushed from Hubdoc. To be able to assign to projects in Hubdoc there and then would be a game changer. Please!
