Appreciate you raising this suggestion. Being able to save partial allocations could provide more flexibility when working through larger list of reconciliation.
At the moment, only completed entries can be saved in Cash Coding. As a workaround, you can reconcile straightforward transactions there first, then return to more complex items from the Reconcile tab.
We've moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue gathering feedback and understanding the demand for this capability.
