Customer Statement - Change Overpayment term to Direct Payment
Because overpayments are the only means of receiving or spending money directly in the control accounts (A/R and A/P), they should be called direct payment. On a statement, the activity is called Overpayment, which confuses clients. To the layman, overpayment indicates an error in payment.
If not Direct Payment, can it be called Payment?
