Hi community, we understand your needs in this feature and want to assure you were taking on board all your feedback.
As many of you accustom to this idea will know, multiple addresses requires a complex solution. It's been something we’ve been moving towards for some time and we’ve done a lot of back end work that will allow us to bring it to you in the future.
We have 12 different products within Xero that rely on contact data, as well as many of our app partners. This means that contacts need to seamlessly flow across technology, products and all connections on Xero. And that’s exactly what we’ve been working on.
One of the reasons we announced the retirement of classic invoicing is because many of the features being asked for, just can’t be brought into classic invoicing. The old technology has too many technology limitations to enable this.…

Well the thread started in 2022 and I believe there have been 2 updates from Xero staff since.
What you may not be aware of is the fact there used to be another system for ideas and reporting issues - that was "wiped" (sorry archived) due to the 3 or 4+ years of comments and ideas that were never actioned.
So in short - don't hold your breath.
I honestly believe a very high proportion of users (30% +) are seriously just waiting for a better online option that has the features of Xero - but actually cares about their paying customers.
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedYep requested along with 1000 other things (all about 5 to 10 years ago on the old ideas and comments system they conveniently removed) that would have made Xero the best in the market - but they know best.
It's telling that the last update from Xero was March 06, 2023.
We're talking about "Ability to create and save multiple addresses for a single contact record"
Anone would think they are working with NASA the amount of time this has taken - 78 days and counting - sorry I'll be kind... only 53 working days have elapsed :|
p1ss poor from a company that really doesn't give a dam n about it's paying subscribers.

Hi community, appreciate the want for more of an update from us on this highly voted idea. Since Kelly’s last message I am pleased to let you know that our product team has done some discovery work in this space. More specifically, exploring the different ways in which the problem could be solved in Xero, alongside understanding the technical challenges. The feedback you’ve shared has been really useful for our product team’s research 🙏
We recognise the importance of needing to know which bills are flagged, so people making payment can review whether a bill should be paid or not, to avoid inadvertent payment. Being able to improve this workflow is important to us and once we have solution concepts, we will be sure to reach out to this community for feedback.
Right now there are no specific time frames available as to when this might be worked on, but…
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedWell there's your answer if you're in the UK : Check your email.
Xero pricing changes in the United Kingdom
They have to pay for their coffees - s**t advertising and World Cup sponsorship somehow.
Anyone know a good package out there that can handle :
Accounting
PO's
Quotes
Products in to a database in order to create quotes.I would rather pay more now than stay with a company that clearly doesn't value it's customers - the only way they will listen!
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedCollis - exactly what most long term users have been saying for 5 years or more... there is no two way communication or listening exercise with Xero. It's their way or no way.
The truth of the matter is we're all mugs for continuing to pay monthly for a sub standard product...
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedLOL - good to see Xero sponsoring football tournaments but not sorting out business critical issues.
"We're still interested to get a clearer understanding of users that'd like to see this developed for bills, and will continue to track this through the conversation here. If there's any change we will let you know on the thread here. Thanks "
Well that was Nov 22 - so if they can't get a handle on what is needed by so many by now - there is no hope.
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedHi Sharon,
Sorry to disagree - I would NOT rather pay more - as this and about 100 other things everyone keeps bang ing on about - should be basic features for any accounting package worth it's salt.
The fact they are not - means we're already being fleeced for the dev team to sit with coffee changing things they think could 'look' better.
An error occurred while saving the comment Will Broome commentedHi Jim
Great though your 'tool' maybe (and I am sure it is) I do notice that you have to pay https://inbill.com.au/#pricing
Why should we have to then pay for yet another piece of software - when actually this functionality is something the existing software should have built in years ago and is not, dev-wise, that difficult.
Just Xero taking the ****
I wouldn't offer my services to help bail Xero out of their self-made position.

Hi everyone
We wanted to provide you an update on our progress for this idea as it’s very much something we want to make easier for you all. The feedback you’ve provided so far has been helpful. One of the big problems our Product team identified in this thread and in other customer research is how hard it is for customers to navigate their statement lines to gain a holistic view of the work they need to do and complete their work flows efficiently.
I’m pleased to share that they’re in the early stages of developing a solution that will help to improve this experience by combining a search tool with an increased number of statement lines being returned to the page.
The product team has a working concept and are looking to validate this with some customers before working out the final details. If you’re interested in participating, please…

Are you still working with Xero?
Your last post was March 6th 2023 and said :
"Thinking further ahead it'd really help our team to better understand;
the optimal # of statement lines you’d like to be able to view on the reconcile screen at any one time, and
any core reasons you feel viewing more statement lines will help you reconcile in Xero
"I think we have all answered that question over and over - or do you need to see more?

Hi everyone, thanks for joining and supporting this idea.
We understand there are a few different use cases for why you'd like to attach a file to an asset within the Fixed Assets register, as well as transactions themselves.
To be upfront our team's current focus, like many areas of Xero, is on upgrading Fixed Asset technology, as we build greater consistency between Xero experiences, making it easier to learn and navigate Xero. Some of these changes may seem minor, but are critical in terms of delivering new and exciting value later on.
That being said, our team is researching what comes next and this is a focus because it is the most supported idea for Fixed Assets right now.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero, we'll share if there’s any updates.
@graham @sally @everyone
They have no interest. Sorry to disappoint.
Some bean counter has worked out that the churn rate for disgruntled clients will be less than the new customers they attract with their sh*t adverts on TV here in the UK.
So income goes up. Everyone (* at Xero) happy.
In 2023 there were 5,510,265 businesses of 0-49 emplyees - their target market. So there is an awfully big pool of people that will sign up and think all works fine for a few months.
They have zero interest in us and the only way we can ever get what we want is to actually walk.
We have moved 3 of our businesses off Xero - the next one will go as soon as eoy completed. Makes little difference in real terms - but at least I know I am not lining their pockets and providing bonuses for the feckless Directors.
