Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important automated holiday pay calculations are for you.
We’re updating the status of this idea to Accepted to show it's formally on our radar.
While we’ve already explored several options to automate holiday pay calculations, for the time being this is not a feature we have planned in our roadmap.
We understand some of you are managing these calculations manually. We’d suggest running the Payroll Activity Summary or Gross to Net report over a 52 week period to assist with these calculations.
We’re grateful for your feedback and will continue to monitor interest here.

Hey team 😊 happy to come back to share that this work is now underway with our product team as they begin development for managing files within Xero Payroll.
We really value the feedback we've received from you all in this idea, which has helped inform our teams approach to developing a solution that will fit majority of needs.
I'll return to share as we get nearer to release with more information on what this looks like including where and how you'll be able to attach files in Payroll.

Create a time off (holiday) calendar - to more easily monitor holidays.
Make it possible to set your holiday year - according to business needs/arrangements (for example April-March instead of Jan - Dec).
Make it easier to see when staff are off
Make it easier to see how many days have been taken
Make it easier to see how many days left to be taken
