Hi everyone, we appreciate your patience & would like to thank everyone who’s shared their thoughts and supported this idea.
Xero's payroll reports do currently offer some options to adjust columns, filters & layout. However we hear & understand the need for having additional information & more flexibility with payroll reporting, including the ability to customise & save reports for future use.
Being open here, these improvements are not in our current pipeline. However we'll use this feedback to shape how we plan future improvements in Xero Payroll reports.

Hey Samantha, thanks for raising this idea with us. We appreciate how being able to eventually delete employees after their employment ended would improve your experience with Xero Payroll.

This seems critical to me in view of GDPR. Currently Xero payroll won't even let me delete personal addresses

Hey everyone, thank you for all your feedback. We’re on a long journey to provide more granular access and controls within Xero features that our customers need.
As you may have seen in some of our recent updates across other user roles ideas we’re currently in the process of adding more permissions within Reporting and Inventory. Further to this our research has highlighted Payroll and Banking as areas that more controls are most needed, and are on our agenda as we continue to develop permissions and access to features.
Your feedback here and through direct engagements with our teams have been extremely insightful, and we appreciate all your inputs.
I'll continue to provide updates on the development of roles for features as we progress.

Please up the priority on this one. The permissions need to be MUCH more granular. I need team members to be able to access particular reports, but, as someone else has commented, it's all or nothing. And - and this is more crucial - they can see bank accounts which means they can see what everyone is paid! Not good for staff outside of certain members of the finance team!

I appreciate that there is now a report listing employee remuneration, and have to suggestions to improve this. 1) Allow the date to be changed. I have just updated everyone's salaries ready for 1st April COL uplift. It would be good to have an advance report for 1st April to compare all new salaries with the list I've been given in one place. As it is, I need to diarise checking this on 1st April. 2) I spent some time customising the report to show the information I want, but am unable to save this in customised reports. I will have to go through the same routine every time I want to use the report.
