Hi team! We're happy to announce that the ability to roll forward existing workpaper packs, URL's and Notes is coming with our new Xero Workpapers. This new solution leverages permanent documents, and has improved data preservation to help minimise the manual rework each year, and get a head start with rolling over key information from previous years.
We're planning ongoing enhancements to this new solution to ensure your workflow is robust and intuitive. We're starting release to our Australian partners now, and other regions will have access from early 2026. We'll keep you updated as the launch for this goes wider.

Hi everyone, we recognise the appetite in this idea and thank you for engaging with us on this through product ideas. We understand the efficiency being able to import Quotes to Xero could have for our customers, as well as the ease of use being able to export Quotes like you can invoices. However, with team resource focused elsewhere right now, we want to be honest that import and export of Quotes are not currently in the roadmap.
Right now, for the export of Quotes you could run the Receivable Invoice Details report - We've created a common format available fro the left panel to access 'All quote details'. If you'd like to further filter this you could add a Status filter. Once you Update, you'll find you can export this detail to PDF, Excel or Google Sheets.

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.
Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.
While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.
Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.

Some form of option to assign email addresses to their function, for example if the client requires invoices and statements to go to different emails invoices@..., statements@... a way to either select this under contact settings or as a drop down when sending invoices or statements rather than having all the emails auto populate then having to go through and delete the ones that aren't needed

It would be helpful if the equity workpaper carried forward the attached supporting documents from the previous year like the permanent section and hire purchase sections. Alternatively, you could under the option allow the firms to select what supporting documents they want carried forward to the next year.
