Hi team, we appreciate the interest in this idea and how having a record of changes to a users permissions would be helpful as an audit in your Xero organisation.
While this history event isn't in our immediate plans, we are closely considering how and what changes we record history for as we continue to develop parts of Xero.
For the time being we are continuing to keep a watchful eye on the support in this here, and I will make sure to share if there is any news of this for you all here.

An audit trail capability that notes additions/deletions of users and any changes to permissions with snapshots of old vs new permission levels, not just a delta of the change, would be of great advantage in tracing any changes on xero files. The audit trail should be available to any 'Manage Users' permission-level user, but as a readonly report, no editing of the trail.

Thanks for sharing your interest in single sign on across Xero's products. This is available currently across many areas or Xero. For example if you are logged in and working in Xero, then move across to Xero Central(our support hub) you may need to click the login button in the top right of the screen but if you're session hasn't ended you should find the page should refresh and automatically log you in.
We appreciate wanting a smoother login experience that's recognised across all Xero products and will share if there are any improvements planned around this with you all, here.

Thanks for supporting and sharing with us how scheduling of reports could enhance your workflow. While we don't have immediate plans for this feature, we have a pulse on the ideas for this in community here and will be sure to update if there's any change to automate these for you.
