Set the Default number of journals to 50 or 100 rather than 25 on the posted tab. Every time you post a journal, it reverts back to 25 showing.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing on your needs for a comprehensive client audit trail in XPM. We understand this feature is critical for accountability and data integrity, and we hear you on the pain points this is causing.
As you might've read and heard updates of our teams are currently working on a unified experience across practice tools with the Xero Partner Hub.
History of client changes aren't wrapped into the initial work, but this is something the team would like to look at longer term and for now we'll move the idea to Accepted. Once Xero Partner Hub is fully released we can consider and will share any updates around history with you all here

Hi everyone, thanks for your engagement and support for adding a quantity column to reports in Xero. We understand there are differing reasons around wanting to add quantity to a report, like being able to track fuel for tax credits, livestock numbers, or hours worked for carbon reporting.
There's a specific idea for Livestock reporting that we'd recommend anyone interested in this joins.
To highlight, quantity can be added within the following reports within Xero right now;
- Inventory Item Details - will allow you to view quantity on hand of tracked inventory items
- Inventory Item summary - lets you view quantities purchased and sold for all items, as well as opening closing and adjusted quantities for tracked items
- Sales by Item report - will show you quantities sold for inventory items
- Payable Invoice Details report - will give you quantities purchased for all line items
- Receivable Invoice Details report -…

Hi everyone, we appreciate all your feedback on the new GST return and while I've made sure your feedback has been shared with product, we're going to close this idea being too broad to focus in on a particular change.
We've created individual ideas for the following points raised as it'd be good to track the interest in each separately. Please do add your vote to each that you'd like to see.
- NZ GST - Export customised return
- NZ GST - Compact export (landscape v portrait)
- NZ GST - Move File with IR to top of page
- NZ GST - Styling PDF export
I'd also encourage raising a case with our specialists at Xero Support if you're having any issues with performance or usability as it'd be good to get more detail and our team can investigate.

It is so annoying not being able to resize columns. There is detail in the reference column which is lost as it is so small. Shouldnt have to export it to view this information.

Hi community, we're thankful for all your support and letting us know the importance of this idea to you in appropriately recording Fixed Assets in Xero.
As many will have experienced we've launched a new version of Fixed Assets to most regions with just a portion of AU left to receive this new experience. There's been lots of work from the team to develop this version all built on updated technology that'll enable growth in this space, overtime.
Currently, though we've done some initial discovery of what'd be required to build the capability to proportion assets depreciation for business and private use in all regions, this hasn't been currently planned for the short term.
For the time being, we'd recommend posting manual journals to record the private use apportionment of a Fixed Assets depreciation.
If you're using Fixed Assets in NZ it's possible to set up an asset and apportion…

You cannot update depreciation settings when you have rolled depreciation in prior years. You should be able to add a private use account to the settings or to the individual asset without rolling back depreciation multiple years.

I also agree with this comment: "Also journals page allows to view only 25 items by default. In many companies there are more than 25 journals for 1 month! Need to extend to 200 each time I need to find a journal. Once you click to view a journal and go back, you see again only 25 journals. Very annoying, especially if you need to amend backdated journals. It slows down speed of work!"
It can't be that hard to increase the default number of journals viewable! It is very frustrating.
