Xero HQ - Report template - option to include a custom column similar to custom row
Add a custom column similar to a custom row into reports.
This would be used to include quantities for livestock reports, for automating % of trust distributions payable to beneficiaries prior end of June.
This currently can't be done in reports.

Can you please allow for an editable column to be added into the schedules within the Notes to the Reports in the Adviser Reports? This is really really really useful for including things like the quantity of shares etc held by clients, or the interest rates on their loans/investments etc so we can confirm we have them correct.
The number of shares is important in order to be able to calculate gain/loss on sale of the shares / financial arrangements etc and thus determine deductibility.
It's also good for identifying the current year interest rate etc.
At the moment we are constantly updating the name of the accounts to include these details there as that is the only option for these disclosures. eg. Genesis Energy Limited (532 shares). Updating these is arduous as we need to go into each and every single GL name. Being able to update these details via an editable column in the report itself would save substantial time and thus cost.

This would be invaluable to our practice.
The Custom Row option addition was a godsend and saved us a huge amount of time exporting reports for basic monthly adjustment calculations with amounts that changed depending on the ledger values. Some correction would need to be done on a ledger entry and the reports would need to be exported again and the calculation redone. Now we can update the report and see the calculated value instantly.
If this option was added for columns I would immediately provide a new custom report to my manager to assist with similar inconveniences requiring column formulas. -
