Hi team, we appreciate the interest surrounding this idea and how having the ability to identify assets that investment boost has been applied to would be useful from the Depreciation schedule.
Right now, IR10 in NZ tax will import Investment Boost directly from Fixed Assets if there is an organisation.
Being upfront, adding this to reports within an organisation isn't currently on our roadmap, but we understand how this would be useful in this reporting and will continue to consider this in future product planning. I'll share if there are any updates for you here.

Appreciate your sharing on lock date controls. Being able to remove lock dates for specific users can help maintain accounting information .
We’ve moved this idea to Gaining support, so the community can vote and comment. If you have any details about how you’d use it, adding them here will help everyone understand the idea better and give the product team more context down the line.
We’ll update more here once we gain more traction.

or maybe split the advisors role - so Accounting role and Client role. with Accountants having the ability to lock the prior years ( esp important when clients have same access level as you) has happened a few times now, wastes time and money looking for the change and fixing. or other option , make prior years once published : locked.

Hi everyone, we'd like to provide an update as we’ve recently launched the new Manual Journals experience in the US, in which this idea has now been addressed.
From the Manual Journals list, you can toggle the “Show manual journals on a cash basis” setting on or off. This sets the default for all journals you create in that org, and it can also be changed within individual journals.
This is currently available in the US only, but we’re planning to roll it out to other regions soon. I’ll keep this thread updated as it lands in more places.

Hey team 😊 happy to come back to share that this work is now underway with our product team as they begin development for managing files within Xero Payroll.
We really value the feedback we've received from you all in this idea, which has helped inform our teams approach to developing a solution that will fit majority of needs.
I'll return to share as we get nearer to release with more information on what this looks like including where and how you'll be able to attach files in Payroll.

Since this Idea was suggested in April 2022, and nothing has happened - I guess they don't care and aren't listening :(

Hiya team, we appreciate the interest this idea has built up, and do want you to know this has been a topic of discussion for our teams.
While manual tax adjustments is available in some regions, considering local best practice we have no plans of expanding manual tax adjustments on transactions to AU based organisations.
We appreciate there can be circumstances where a transaction differs by a few cents due to rounding and would recommend using manual journals to post and make corrections where required.
We get this isn't the outcome you'd most like to receive, but want to be upfront with you all on this here. Thanks

would be great we we could override or manually edit the GST on a transaction that may be part GST and part non GST, like any item that is only part deductible rather than having to manually split into two lines one gst and one non gst. Keeps the gross as one figure, easier to trace.

Hi community, thanks for your input and support into this idea for auto updating related journals when an auto-reversing journal is edited.
While the team began to look into work involved, priorities have shifted and this is not something we'll be looking to develop at this time.
We'll move the status back to submitted and keep you informed if there is any movement.

I have been caught out , very embarrassing, as some one else said, an error waiting to happen

would have thought this would be a standard process, you change one jnl and the auto reversal should be updated automatically, as above stops errors esp important when jobs are been audited ( they always look past balance date, and effects clients monthly reporting)
