It’s interesting to hear the different ways our users invoice and we appreciate you sharing how we could improve the flow of entry for you here. Being open this isn’t something we have plans for right now, however as our team plan further developments within invoicing, we’d like to engage you all here. Hi community, excited to share an update as our product team look to develop and enhance our quotes experience in Xero.
They'd like to solve for the needs in this idea, and as part of their discovery would love to engage some users here for early access - You'll get to try it out, share feedback directly with product, and help shape this new quotes feature.
We're looking for roughly 15 users that'll make use and be willing to give insights back to the team on their workflows and impressions of the new experience. If this sounds like something you'd like to be involved in please take a few moments to fill in our form here. ✍️

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on this idea.
We understand how being able to insert a new line exactly where you need it in a long invoice would make editing much quicker and easier, especially when you’re updating existing line items.
We’ve reviewed your suggestion and moved it to Gaining Support, so other members of the community can vote and add comments to share how this change would improve their invoicing workflow.
Please keep adding your use cases and examples — this helps our product team better understand the impact and where this could make the biggest difference.

Hi team, in the aim of transparency we have split this idea out from the original one here so we can get a better understanding of the interest for this change in each area of Xero.
Being quite different features within Xero it's not likely that a change in one would be reflected in the other area at the same time. We will continue to track interest in removing quotes from the all list here and share if there are any updates.

Thanks for your interest in this idea, everyone. We understand there are different ways our customers find useful when entering dates for invoices in Xero.
Based on feedback our team are looking at improvements to the date pickers in new invoicing. While I can't confirm exactly what these will entail atm, we'll shift the idea to working on it and I'll be back to confirm when we have more of the detail.

Hi everyone, we value your input and sharing with us on your needs here.
While not a direct preview button we have provided the ability to 'Get link' from the 3 dot menu in quotes - in the same manner as invoices this will provide you a unique link that you can use to share externally, or open in a new browser tab to preview the quote.
Though not a direct solve for what has been asked in this idea, this was another highly sought after request raised by community.
We believe this option will meet the needs of some on this idea too, but will also continue to track the interest for a Preview option for future consideration. 🙏

Hi everyone, thanks for your interest and feedback on this idea.
While we understand this capability was previously available, we want to be transparent that there are no plans in the near term to support connecting multiple Stripe accounts to a single Xero organisation.
If anything changes in future, we’ll be sure to share an update here.

Hi community, we appreciate the support in this idea and apologise for not engaging here sooner. Thanks for sharing how important this workflow is for your business.
Our current deposits release is focused on approved invoices, where a business can request an upfront deposit and then collect the remaining balance later on that invoice.
However, we know for some businesses this needs to begin earlier from the quote stage. While we consider how we might expand deposits in the longer term we want to be upfront that converting a quote to a deposit and remaining amount invoice isn’t in the roadmap as yet.
We’ll keep this idea updated as there’s more to share on the future of deposits with Xero.

The product team have reviewed this idea and we're updating the status to Accepted, which means it's an idea they would like to explore, but it isn't currently on the roadmap. We'll keep you updated as things progress.

Hi team, apologies it's taken some time for us to round back here. While work was started on supporting Afterpay things have changed in this space and we no longer have direct plans for developing supporting Afterpay as a Buy Now Pay Later payment method.
Right now, for US, CA, UK and NZ there is the ability to offer Klarna as a BNPL method through Stripe which you can find out more about setting up in Xero Central.
If plans change in the future and this gets picked back up I'll be sure to come back with another update for you here.

Hi team, we thoroughly appreciate the feedback we've received from our community here.
I want to share that our product team have made a recent change for the banner that you receive in invoicing, so now if you choose to 'dismiss' this it'll be permanent and the banner will no longer appear.
We want to be open that we don't have any plans to provide the ability to turn off online payments for an organisation completely.

Appreciate the feedback and interest through the idea here. Being open this isn't something we have plans for at this stage. Current focus is on new invoicing and improving the experience for our users as we edge closer to the retirement of classic invoicing.
We'll continue to keep our eyes on all sales flow ideas in the forums here and will let you know if there's any updates to share on this idea.
