We have multiple Businesses within the one Xero Account and we have two different websites with different Stripe Accounts. We need to be able to reconcile the Stripe Accounts to the correct Bank accounts and the right Businesses. This is Crazy that this can't be done!

With API connections and different business ventures it would be a good idea to allow this.

There are many reasons why a business would want this functionality. If you allow various different invoice formats, why not allow payments to be made via different ways, and allowing variability in Stripe processing will give everyone greater flexibility.

I agree this functionality is critical. I am an advisor with Xero, and I have run into this issue with my own books, as well as client books on Xero. The lack of this functionality has prevented me from converted several clients pnto the Xero platform.

Absolutely needed. You should be able to have separate Stripe accounts on separate invoice templates

This feature is needed in Xero, our business has been disappointed and let down by Xero's service, that this feature isn't currently available and much needed. Until this feature is implemented our business cannot use the payment link feature.

We pay a premium cost for Xero, if this service cannot be implemented we will move across to another platform.

How are you Xero/Stripe Customers handling this issue? Are you using one bank account as a holding tank for all transactions and then moving the money to the correct bank account?

Are you charging all of your clients the higher rate no matter the currency?

Looking for real world solutions to this BIG Issue.

the ability to have multiple payment accounts for Stripe like you can for PayPal

This. We want to add 2.7% for NZ invoices, and, add 5.7% for overseas (note the higher amount than the current 5% threshold), as this is our cost from Xero. Please implement.

We can have multiple Square accounts, why can't we have multiple Stripe accounts??
This restriction is a primitive function yet Xero and Stripe don't support it.

This is very important to our business as we invoice to the UK and overseas.
If this cant not be fixed we have no alternative but to go to another provider, as I know that Sage does this.
Please update as to when this will be fixed.

My Client has multi currency Xero and invoicing templates - we need tobe able to apply different Stripe settings to each of these.
The article in Help gives instructions on how to add another Stri[pe account but then told me this is not possible.

It's really crazy that Xero doesn't allow for multiple Stripe accounts to be added - even the same Stripe account added twice to show 2 different surcharge percentage rates... In fact, 2 Support Xero Articles say that you CAN - but they seem incorrect??

Bullet # 2: Set up multiple surcharging rates by adding the same Stripe account as another payment service in Xero, for each additional rate. You can attach the different Stripe accounts to separate invoice templates to make it easier when invoicing.

There is a subheading that literally says you can: Add ANOTHER Stripe account as a payment service

Wow, I can't believe this is not available. And that it used to be and Xero removed this critical functionality.

Stripe has a 1.7 % fee processing fee for Domestic Credit Cards and a 3.5% processing fee for Overseas cards.

Most of our customers are in Europe, US and Asia, with a handful in Australia.

There is only ONE setting in Xero to add a % of the total invoice. We need TWO.

This is really serious. If we set it at 1.7% in Xero and a customer pays with an Overseas card, we get slammed with the difference of 1.8%, which on a EUR 20K invoice is EUR 360 or (AUD 609). We have like 60 invoices in EUR to do for our conference. That would add up to AUD 36,500 in fees.....

Seriously.....guys ! Fix this now.

We need to be able to set different surcharge % depending on customer location. It is disappointing that it is not already part of the multicurrency option.

It would be good if this can be done under the one Stripe connection, but if it is only possible through having multiple strip connections we could work with that..

Definitely need this. Very unfortunate that this is not possible despite paying for multi currency on the Xero side.

Without this, I am going to have to get another part of our solution set to get the Stripe data into Xero.

I believe this used to be possible. I desperately need it now. The price of Xero keeps getting higher yet the useful features do not increase in proportion.
Please help us out here!
