Hi community, thanks for your support and sharing in the idea here. Diving into your comments, there are a few different ideas that we're picking up on within this one thread;
- ability to change the email address/contact of a sent pack
- ability to add additional documents to a sent pack, and
- the ability to edit metadata of a sent pack
For the first, we'd like to better understand what is driving the need to change the email address? is it down to a typo when entering it? or if its on a tax return, is it wrong on the client record etc?
Although it's not possible to add additional documents to a pack right now, creating and sending a new document pack is essentially the same - Is there any reason this isn't suitable?
Lastly, it'd be good to get more substance of how the ability to rename a pack…

Hi team, we've been listening to your feedback and understand just how important it is to have an efficient workflow when preparing workpapers.
As you may have heard, we've been working on a brand new Workpapers solution. This is a complete overhaul of our Workpapers offering, and we're thrilled to confirm that linking to the prior year's archived workpaper pack is on the roadmap.
The new solution will include direct and seamless navigation between years, providing a link from the current year's workpaper pack to the previous year's archived pack for the same client. This'll save you significant time, making your compliance and review workflows much smoother. We're phasing the rollout, starting with Australia, with a global expansion to follow. I'll keep you updated here as this release widens.

Hi community, we totally get why you'd like to easily track partially received goods or services against a single purchase order, and to see the remaining balance within Xero.
With the new Purchase orders experience that’ll be coming soon, our team has paid close attention to the flows and different needs in managing supplier goods that have been expressed through product ideas.
Our team is looking to solve needs for tracking partial amounts received, so we’ll keep you updated of progress surrounding this here. 🙂

The Tracking field dropdown currently does not have the option to add a new tracking category, like most other screens do.

Workpaper pack queries email template allows for fields to be added as 'tags' but the available fields/tags is too limited. Please include additional fields/tags, such as contacts first name and allow for a different templates for Organisations and Individuals.
