Hi community, thanks for engaging with this idea! It’s already gaining strong traction, and we can see how important this is to many of you.
We understand the value of being able to map general ledger accounts directly to all tax return schedules in Xero Tax, not just the business schedule. This improvement would go a long way in streamlining tax workflows, increasing efficiency, and reducing the risk of manual entry errors.
The idea is now in the Gaining Support stage. Your continued votes and comments help highlight its importance and guide our product team's priorities.

Hi everyone, we appreciate how quickly this idea has picked up traction from the community here.
As you've likely heard through other communications we're in the midst of rolling out a unified Client experience as part of our wider Xero Partner Hub.
With the new Client experience you can now;
- Create a client without a TFN, as the Create Client flow has been updated to capture only the basic details
- The TFN can be added later by clicking Edit once the client is created.
- If you do try add a TFN that already exists on an archived client, an error message is displayed - you can get a view of what this looks like in my attachment
Thanks again for sharing with us here and I'll be back to confirm when this new experience is live to all practices.

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts on this. It’s clear from the support this idea has gained that automated reminders for superannuation payments could be a huge help for many of you. We hear you and can see how this could make managing your obligations smoother.
Our product team has taken a look at this and we’re exploring how we can build it in to help you stay on top of the proposed PayDay Super changes. It’s on our roadmap, and we’ll keep you posted as things move forward. 🙂

Thanks for your feedback, Tina. To make it easy to track the interest from community and keep you updated we request each post is contained to a single idea. I've slightly amended your idea to the first that you mentioned around navigating to practice tools. We have a slightly different one for the navigation to Hubdoc that you may like to vote for.
For the last point you've noted around the Xero and Home buttons - welcome to start a new idea for this too, that we can track support in. Thanks

Also, if we have to use a date picker, we shouldnt need to have to change the year first to be able to select a month after the current month. If the year needs to be selected first, it should be listed first.
