   Hi everyone, we appreciate your support and feedback for having a Repeating Invoices Report. 

   We know that not having a dedicated report for your repeating invoices can present limitations when trying to forecast sales.

   As noted by others in the idea, while not a complete solution there is the Receivable invoice detail report, that will provide results for invoices that have already generated from a repeat invoice template. There is also Short term cashflow predictions in Xero Analytics Plus that can predict recurring cash transactions based on the past 3 months reconciliations. 

   For more comprehensive forecasting, some users have found third-party apps that integrate with Xero to be helpful - You can view the full suite of official apps on our Xero App store. 

   While we understand these aren't ideal long-term solutions, I want to let you know that there's no work currently planned to develop a specific repeating invoices report. 

   We appreciate your understanding, and if there's any change for this in the future we'll share an update with you all here.

   Hi there, as part of our ongoing review process, we’re in the process of updating our idea statuses to better track Xero Product Ideas.

   We’ve taken another look at this idea. Whilst we can see the value for payroll administrators to be able to view the payslip in PDF from within the Employee’s record, this update doesn’t currently fit into our product team’s road map. We’ll move this idea to a status of Accepted and will continue to review this in future planning.

   Hey everyone 👋 Thanks so much for all the detailed feedback on applying work patterns for part-time employees. We’ve been following the conversation and understand that manually adjusting pay runs for pro-rata entitlements can be a real challenge. It’s clear that having this automated could save time and give you greater peace of mind.

   I’m pleased to let you know our product team has reviewed this idea and we’re updating the status to ‘Accepted’. This means that while it’s not on our immediate roadmap, it’s something we see real value in and want to bring into Xero when we can prioritise the work.

   In the meantime, the workarounds shared here, like manually adjusting hours in each pay run, remain the best approach. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping Xero. We’ll keep you updated on any developments here. 🙂

   Hi community, we appreciate the continued traction this idea's received, and do want to provide clarity and set expectation.

   Your feedback has been valuable in understanding the needs of using description only lines to; add subheadings, provide context for grouped charges, and ensure your invoices are easy for your clients to read and understand.

   To reconfirm, atm - You can add one-off description only lines as you enter an invoice. However, if you add detail to any other field the line will be treated as a 'financial' line and you'll need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax rate.

   • We know some users have set up and saved inventory items for description only lines they commonly use, however as the item code field is used for inventory items the line of the invoice is treated as 'financial' meaning you'll then need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax rate.

   Work required to enable inventory only description lines is deeper than the surface of invoicing itself. The teams required to develop this are very much across the idea here, and would like to dive deeper into this but it's not in our pipeline just at this point. We'll be sure to keep you updated if this work is picked up. Thanks for your engagement.
