Hi everyone, we appreciate the continued trend in support through this idea, and feedback to my last update. We recognise how valuable it is to have clear visibility of your customer payment performance, so you can quickly review payment dates and days late across customers without needing to check each contact individually.

We want to share that we’re currently working on reports to give businesses better visibility of payment performance, with our initial focus on the supplier side through a new 'Supplier days to pay detail' report showing historical payment behaviour across suppliers.

Once that’s rolled out, we’ll begin work on additional reports for the Sales side with customer payment performance.

I’ll return to share as work on customer reporting is picked up and progresses. Thanks

Hi everyone, thank you for your continued passion, and sharing how having the ability to group or combine line items within an invoice would give you the control to present information to your clients in the best way for your business.

In lieu of a direct feature, while I appreciate it won’t fit all needs here, the inbuilt calculator may help in some cases to combine costs of multiple lines to one, and we appreciate there are some customers that have explored third-party apps with more extensive functionality for the time being to full-fill their needs.

We’re updating the status of this idea to Accepted - While this isn’t on our roadmap atm, we see the value in this suggestion and it’ll be considered as we plan our future roadmap. We’ll update this thread if we have any more news to share.

We use the inventory capability with Product and Services Items for sales and purchases.

When we sell an time, it can be made up of 3 other Products, it would be handy if we can set up a Product that links to the 3 Products that make it up. This then would keep stock levels resonabily correct.

Or could we bring the 3 Products through onto the invoice at a sell rate of $0.00 to reduce stock, and could these line items then be hidden?

Hi Annette, we can see how having more ways to filter statement recipients could help businesses manage customer communications more efficiently.

The suggestion is to add a Credit Terms filter to the bulk Send Statements screen, making it easier to group customers based on their payment arrangements.

For now, you can use contact filters or reports to help identify customers with specific payment terms before sending statements. We’ll continue tracking this idea here so the community can share feedback and use cases to help shape future improvements.

    Hey community,

As some of you are aware, you can edit a contact and set a credit limit, and optionally block new invoices when the credit limit is reached in new invoicing.

Understand that a few of you are asking for a feature to put a stop on a contact so they can’t be sent invoices regardless of what their credit limit is, as well as others who'd like to see this implemented on the supplier side.

We'd like to confirm that this is not something we have plans to develop at this time. We're still interested to get a clearer understanding of users that'd like to see this developed, and will continue to track this through the conversation here 👀

If there's any change we will let you know on the thread. Thanks

Xero is going backwards, new features they say but use more keystrokes. I agree with all the comments on here. This was a function, so why take it away?

Now they are blaming Microsoft for the issue due to last update. Microsoft is used widley around the world so wouldnt be in Xero's best interest to stay current. Their advice was to go back to previous version. Like 1 person operating on old version and rest on the latest. As we all know this causes issues if not on same release.

    NOT happy Jan
