We've been carefully reviewing your comments and want to acknowledge the clear sentiment of frustration regarding the current limitations around managing multiple addresses for contacts, particularly for invoicing and delivery purposes, and that this is a critical feature to many of you.
We want to share an update on our progress here - We're pleased to confirm that the foundational work for handling multiple addresses has been completed within the Contacts area of Xero. This was a crucial first step. Building on this, now that all customers are on the new invoicing experience our product team has moved into the discovery phase for adding multiple addresses directly within invoicing. This means they are actively exploring the best way to implement this functionality to meet your needs effectively.

Building on this request, it would also be extremely helpful to have the ability to choose which linked person under a single business contact is used when creating quotes or invoices. Many businesses work with multiple individuals at the same company, and being able to select the correct person (rather than defaulting to the primary contact) would greatly improve accuracy and tracking.

My client's workflow relies heavily on detailed customer tracking, quoting, and shipping processes. Please add internal-only shipping fields to quotes and invoices (e.g., carrier, method, paid by, and account used). These should remain hidden from the customer, but allow businesses to track shipping details directly on the transactional document, similar to QB fields.

It would also be incredibly helpful to have the ability to search quotes by product or service item. Many businesses need to quickly reference past quotes for specific products, and not having this functionality creates extra manual work.
This could be implemented in two ways:
• Adding quotes to the product history so that the product record shows all related bills, invoices, and quotes, or
• Enhancing the quote search bar to allow searching by product number or item code.
Either option would significantly improve efficiency for product-based businesses.
