    Hi community, we appreciate everyone's engagement here. To confirm we have intentions of developing the purchase order experience, however developing Projects into this does have some complexities and requires work across both purchase orders and projects to deliver.

    Right now our initial focus is releasing the new purchase order experience to all users.

    While we don't have a timeframe for assigning PO's to Projects at this stage, this is top of our product teams radar and we'll communicate here as soon as there's an update.

    Build the module as a 3rd Party App and then make it available at a price.

    ...please....please....;please see what you can do to fast-track PO's functionality with Project allocations per line item.
    Also the conversion of 'Accepted Quotes' to update Projects with all the data already captured.
    Make Xero great again :-)

    Xero Team, please at least let us know what the difficulty is in having this implemented.

    If it is a feature that requires additional billing, then please go ahead and those who wish to pay extra can.
    My clients would certainly pay the extra.

    Hey Rebecca, thanks for your engagement and for sharing this detailed suggestion about user permissions in Xero Projects.

    We've reviewed your idea to allow users to view project profitability without needing the full admin user role, and it can now gain support from other community members. We understand the need for team members to keep track of a project's performance, and why granting full admin access isn't always suitable.

    Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how this more granular user role would improve their project management and empower their teams. 🙂
