Practice tools | Staff - Ability to assign clients when inviting staff
Previously in Xero HQ you could invite a new staff member and immediately assign clients to them - This was efficient. Now the staff member has to accept the invite first before any clients can be assigned.
We understand this is a feature practices may like to see. We'd like to get a gauge interest from beta participants that'd find this feature useful - Add your vote, share importance and any comments to share extra detail of how this would help your practice.

This new process is adding to the already considerable administrative workflow steps in Xero. We need ability to add client access when inviting the staff, so there is no double handling during the staff onboarding process. To have to wait for the staff to accept the invite, then go back in the system again to give them access, is very cumbersome. Further, the system does not notify us that they have accepted the invite. Please add this feature back.
