Hi everyone, we appreciate the input that you’ve all contributed to this idea, and understand the extra work coding a bank transaction to the wrong account can create.
To be upfront, this idea is currently Not in the pipeline. While we see the value this feature can bring, it's not something the product team is actively working on or planning in the near future.
In the meantime, the current workflow using the Remove & Redo feature allows you to delete the transaction from the incorrect bank account and re-enter it in the correct one.
We know this isn’t ideal, but it’s the most reliable option for now.
We’ll continue to monitor votes on this idea. Your support helps us better understand where improvements are most needed.

Hi, thanks for submitting this idea. As you mentioned, the Create option doesn't currently have a way to add a new account into your Chart of Accounts.
We appreciate you taking time to let us know how we could improve Xero for you, and your feedback will soon be reviewed by our Community team, and in the meantime this can begin to build support with votes from other community members.
If you're interested to see recent releases or get a pulse on what's coming soon see The Long and Short of it. 🙂

Hi team, thanks for feeding back here. We appreciate the need for more visibility here.
Currently, if you click reply on the note you have an option to mark a Note as completed.
Right now we're working on some changes to bring extra visibility to how notes are displayed when these are marked as resolved.
I'll return to share more on this soon. 🙂

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how a detailed Profit and Loss report could support your workflow.
Atm, the Account Transactions report can be run grouped and filtered by Account, which could then be exported to Excel for further sorting and analysis. While we appreciate it takes a few steps, it can give you the transaction-level detail you’re after.
Alternatively, clicking on any figure in the Profit and Loss report will take you directly to the corresponding Account Transactions report, showing the individual transactions that make up that total.
Our product team has moved this idea to Not in pipeline, meaning it isn't on the foreseeable roadmap. However, the idea will remain open for votes so we can continue to monitor community interest as we plan for the future.

I have a similar problem. Our NFP doesn't have a lot of transactions but Xero is updated part time, and mistakes happen. At review time I need to correct (1) GL COA allocations and (2) Activity code allocations which have been applied inconsistently.
Fixing is manual, transaction by transaction. Individual edits take me 1-2 minutes each with cloud lag and screen refresh time (on both my decade old and brand new Macs).
Being able to flag multiple transactions, identify the correct COA code or activity code and click submit will save me hours.
