Hi Mark, thanks for this excellent and clearly detailed suggestion.
We understand the workflow you're proposing: when a bill from Hubdoc is reconciled in Xero, its status should automatically sync back and be marked as 'Paid' in Hubdoc.
We're grateful for your engagement and for letting us know the changes that matter to you.
We've reviewed your idea for the 'Paid' status to sync from Xero back to Hubdoc, and now it can gain support from other community members. Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how this two-way sync would improve their experience.

Thanks for sharing this suggestion, Daniel. We understand the request for payment reminders to recognise when a payment is already on its way, such as an unreconciled bank statement line. This could help avoid sending reminders when customers have already made a payment, but not yet applied to invoices.

This was a major irritation when you had a quote in the old organisation and wanted it in the new organisation.
There is no simple:
Copy to another organisation
function.
You effectively have to recreate it.
Requested improvement:

Hi Daniel, we understand the request for Hubdoc to support Xero Verify push notifications for MFA. This could make logging in quicker and provide a more consistent sign-in experience across Xero products.

Appreciate you raising this. Being able to select a receipt already stored in Hubdoc and attach it directly to a Xero transaction could save a few unnecessary steps when managing documents.

Hello everyone, I want to get a better understanding of this idea here. Would you think that this can be achieved by selecting the 'Mark as Paid' checkbox? Because if you’ve ticked the box, the document that you’ve published as draft, will change the into Awaiting payment status in Xero - See our article here for more information.

A recurring problem is that Xero and Hubdoc behave as though they are separate systems even though Xero owns Hubdoc.
Examples include:
Documents remaining linked to transactions that no longer exist.
Having to re-upload documents that Hubdoc already stores.
Authentication complications.
Different publishing statuses.
Organisation switching.
Having to work around a problem in Xero by manually manipulating something in Hubdoc.
