  1. To reassign or remove multiple billable expenses at once and to make edits to billable expenses from within reports.

    I have a client who has 175 outstanding billable expenses, which need to be removed as the invoices have been billed manually.

  2. A setting in the backend to turn on/off to find and match transactions within a certain amount (i.e.-/+0.05).

    These are usually (if not always a rounding adjustment). It's currently a 4-step process to add a minor adjustment.

    Also, selecting minor adjustment or bank fee, can the difference auto populate in the amount field?!!

  3. Say I go to a supplier and make a cash purchase. I use my debit card and then walk out with goods and a receipt. Scanning the receipt to Xero and coding the purchase if easy but I am pretty slack and normally lose the receipt before I get to scan it. What say, the vendor scans a QR code that I carry containing my email/Xero info and this allows the vendor's system to email me the purchase document.     Appreciate there are more settings that you'd like to expand the use of the Credit Limit for, Joyce. 

    In lieu of change in the direct feature atm, one way to prevent further invoices from being raised for a contact could be to set their limit to the amount of the invoice due which would stop all future invoices for the contact being raised.

  5. Report for "Account Transactions" should only produce one line per transaction.

    Currently, the report splits off a separate line for the PST component of each transaction, adding "- PST" in the description and to the contact name, and pulls the PST amount out of "Gross".

    I need an account transaction report that includes GST, PST and the unit price in "gross" on a single line per transaction. These gross values will match the bank statement, and have the description/reference/contact and the account(s) the transaction was coded to.

  9. Project reports are very difficult to follow and understand. The ability to click a transaction and open the source is not possible unlike all standard Xero reports. A Profit and Loss by project is crucial. Project transactions need to be combined into the audit trail so that standard reports can be ran to include project information.

  10. It would be excellent to be able to show VAT respective figures in all reports. Many small companies are not VAT registered and thus nett figures do not show the correct picture for a company. We would also love to have this feature on profit and loss and other reports as we need to see how much money to budget for an expense. It becomes difficult as some suppliers are VAT inclusive, and others are not so costs cannot be calculated on a straight-line VAT formula.

  12. Ability to add a planned payment date to a bill from the "All" tab in. It is very frustrating that if you are in the all tab in the bills to pay section and you want to add a planned date to a bill, you then have to navigate to the awaiting payment tab and then search again for the bills you want to add a planned date to.

    Further, there is actually no need for an awaiting payment tab. We should be able to filter on the All tab for the view of bills we want to see.

When you are entering a Bill to Pay, the Creditor bank account number that you have stored on their contact comes up as a window at the top, so you easily compare with the bank account number with the bank account number on the invoice. This can prompt you to check if the bank account number has been changed and you can make a phone call or follow your company guidelines regarding changing of bank account details to avoid Cyber Crime.   16. It would be really useful if Bills autosaved to Drafts - as happens when you enter an Invoice. Because Invoices are autosaved, you are in that mindset and can often forget that you have to click Save or Approve for a Bill to be logged.

  20. Is would be helpful to be able assign different expenses from one bill to different customers, in one batch. At the moment you have to do it individually and then go back into the assign expenses section to do it again for each assignment, which for a bill that relates to multiple customers takes a lot of time.
