New Invoice - Draft Save Time
Though I am grateful and happy that the "New Invoice - Cursor Default Position" was resolved, thank you, it is now affecting the amount of time it takes for the draft to autosave after entering/selecting the contact. The amount of time it takes for the draft to autosave is significantly longer now than it was before the cursor position was fixed. The draft is still "saving" even after I have entered the rest of the information into the date, invoice number, and reference fields. 1 voteThanks for sharing, Angela. With the way autosave works, you should be able to just keep drafting your invoice and it will save in the background. So you don't need to wait.

Some invoices are missing in Xero – Pabbly Connect shows successful execution
I’ve integrated Pabbly Connect with Xero to automatically create invoices. The workflow in Pabbly shows a successful execution, but not all invoices are actually being created in Xero.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Is there a way to debug what might be going wrong between the successful webhook execution and invoice creation in Xero?Additional Details:
The webhook receives all required data including customer, line items, and invoice date.
Pabbly workflow shows "Success" status after sending data to Xero.
However, when I check Xero, some invoices are missing entirely.
No error message is shown in Pabbly.

Where you're using an integration we'd generally recommend also contacting their support team as in most cases they have designed and built their integration with Xero themselves and are in the best position to troubleshoot.

Glitches in the software
I've always felt like your software was created by people who have never used the software themselves because some of the pathways and defaults just don't make sense. Note: I access Xero using the Chrome browser.

However, it's best that strange behaviour or performance issues are shared with our specialists at Xero Support who have tools to be able to investigate and escalated with our team if something isn't working as it should.
There are a couple of your points I wanted to confirm here;
- Bills to pay - you are able to set a default page for this. It sounds like it may currently be set to Paid bills in your org. You can set the default by clicking the 3 dots in the top right of the page where you'll see 'Default bill page' to select your preference
- Default for bills due date - From the same place you can go to for invoice (Invoice settings) you can set a default Due date for your bills.

Repeating Invoice - Introduction of the most basic features required
After years of using Xero and the majority of our invoices each month being repeat ones, I am increasingly frustrated with the lack of the most basic features for repeating invoices.
Combined, there are thousands of upvotes for the most basic features, most of which have been submitted years ago. And seem to go totally ignored by the Xero team.

Save and continue on draft invoice
New Invoicing - bring back the 'save and continue adding' button in drafts, a feature classic invoicing offered. When completing invoices with multiple lines it is imperative that it you can save during input without having to save and close. Especially now that the new invoicing is unreliable.
1 voteHi Meradene, as new invoicing also encompasses auto save there is no need to manually save your invoice. Once you've added a Contact, as you move between fields of your invoice Xero will continuously save any data you've entered.
It sounds like you may be having trouble with this though and if you're finding you're loosing information you've entered I'd really encourage reaching out to our specialists at Xero Support who can take a closer look to investigate what's going on for you.

PO with zero total shows random code
We have encountered an issue when printing purchase orders (PO) to PDF in Xero. Specifically, whenever the total amount of a PO is zero (0), the total column displays a random code instead of correctly showing "0".

If you've already integrated this with your organisation and looking for further capabilities to what it offers we recommend reaching out to their support directly (listed under the additional info section of the Xero app store).
As they designed and built the integration they can confirm what's possible and would need to make decisions of if this is something they'd be willing to expand their integration for.

Salary - restrict access to view salary entries
Stop staff viewing salary information via the contact or the account code, this is a MASSIVE problem and is costing real money right now. I am sure we are not the only business for whom this is a huge problem!

New invoicing | Files - support .eml file type
The Classic Invoicing allows .eml (downloaded emails) to drag and drop into invoices from downloads. The new invoicing DOES NOT allow this. Please reinstate this function to the new invoicing as it is an essential part of loading invoices (uploading (drag & drop) downloaded emails providing instructions and authorization evidence for auditors). Kelly, please confirm that this function will be continued in the new invoicing. Thank you.

How to make Xero projects report in Zoho Analytics
I have Integrated the Zoho Analytics with Xero through the Import Service in Zoho Analytics. But I am unable to fetch the Xero project module data, rest other modules data I received in Zoho Analytics.
Please let me know how i can get the projects module data also. Reporting - Add 'Add Page Break' on 'Insert Content' drop down
Please add the ability to be able to add a page break from the 'insert content' drop down in draft reports, rather than having to go into 'edit layout to do this.
Currently the only option on this 'insert content' drop down is to 'add text block'

Being completely open, having checked in with our product team while it might be something we revisit further down the track, we don't have any plans for enabling adding of page breaks from the Insert Content drop down in the near term. UK payroll - Amend employee regular earnings if pay run hasn't been run
Please can you add a fix so that you can amend someone's regular earnings with the same start date if that pay-run hasn't yet been run.
You used to be able to do this, but recently you cant make a correction - instead you have to put the correct data on the next available date. This creates a second line on the payslip - which looks messy and clearly displays the fact you've made an error. Not something I'd choose to share.
1 voteHi Georgina, the salary line will only lock once it's been included in a pay run. Is it possible there is a pay run in draft? If so, you'd need to delete the draft pay run in order to edit the salary line.

Increase bank account, Invoice and Bill transaction limits
A big request to please increase bank account, Invoice and Bill transaction limits per month (i.e. from 2/4k to 10k+ at least).
2 votesHi Kyle, it's necessary to have some limits in place to prevent performance issues, and I want to be open that we don't have any plans to increase these in the near term.
I'd recommend raising a case to connect with our Xero Support team where our specialists can get more detail from you to understand how you use Xero and possibly make suggestions so you can still achieve what you need using Xero.

New invoicing - Classic Invoicing to remain default invoicing
I do not like new invoicing, so I want to KEEP to original invoicing for as long as I possibly can Until End of Feb, without having to manually scroll down to the bottom of the page everytime I log in and manually select original invoicing every time.
17 votesHi everyone, while we appreciate your feedback here. With the retirement of classic invoicing in February, and to help customers get used to the new invoicing experience this default will continue to apply.
As we continue to improve the new experience this means customers may find updates that help their workflow and adopt the new experience.
The option to switch back to classic will be available and we understand this is the experience some customers may choose to use up until the retirement date.

ApprovalMax - rejected bill email link - allow editing when it takes you to Xero
When we receive an email from Approval Max stating that someone has rejected a bill, it has a link to the bill in Xero. When you open the link, there's no way to edit/amend the invoice from this screen.
Please add an edit button.
Currently, from this screen, to edit the invoice, we need to go to:
Bills To Pay > Drafts > search for the invoice > then edit itToo many additional steps to edit the invoice, it should be easy from that first link.

Seeing as this email is sent by ApprovalMax we'd recommend connecting with their support to see if this is something they can change or would consider extending their integration for. Many of our app partners designed and built their integrations with Xero themselves and are best placed to confirm how this works and make changes to it.

Please enable Hotmail to be delivered to inboxes not their spam accounts when sending invoices

We recommend sharing this article with any of your hotmail recipients that are finding that their invoices are being directed to spam folders. They will be able to update their email settings to add @xero.com and @post.xero.com to their email safe senders list to ensure these get through.

Invoice API add created timestamp
Invoices have a Date field with the temporal resolution of YYYY-MM-DD (despite there being numeric values to support time as well).
This field shows the date that the invoice is created. It would be wonderful if the invoices had a time field, with the timestamp that the invoice was created.

Bank feed - Auto update Payee name
Some bank feeds have transaction details where the bank uses a debit card reference or DF reference in the PAYEE, the reference will contain the actual PAYEE name, for example the PAYEE field will have 1234-XXXX-XXXX-1234 or 123456789DF and the reference will show the actual PAYEE. Can Xero replace the PAYEE name with the actual PAYEE if it sees the above numbers. Too many clients are not replacing the numbered PAYEE and trying to recognise the PAYEE is proving time consuming as clients are not recording the PAYEE with the correct details
1 voteHi Bip, mapping of details from your bank statement to fields in Xero are dependent on your bank institution and feed. A change in this regard is a change for all users with that same type of bank account feed and I want to be open that this isn't something that can be changed on an individual basis.
