Product & services - Create custom (tiered) price lists for contacts

Ability to create multiple price lists for the same inventory items, and be able to set a default for each contact.

To enable tiered pricing for different groups of customers. Would save time and require less manual checking

Hi all, thank you for contributing to idea here. While our Inventory team have reviewed the idea for custom / tiered price lists in Xero, we want to be open that we do not have development planned for enabling more extensive Inventory management like this.

There are many Inventory apps that connect with Xero and offer these types of services and more - You can explore these on Xero App store. To be transparent we will update the status to not planned - If there is any change to this we will share with you here.

    This will bring many Sage 50 stock users across. This is a deal breaker for many of my old Sage 50 clients

    I agree with all the requests and recommendations, in that we also need the ability to change the cost value of the same item code per customer, not just the invoiced price. It is extremely tedious to have to create an item code for each individual item, whereas we use item codes for groups of similar category items and then just do the breakdown per line item in an individual invoice.

    If this idea has been shared by the community so many years ago, then it is very poor form from the developers, not to have integrated it into the app already.

    Maybe this solution is not for us.

    With QBD becoming end of life, there will be many QuickBooks clients leaving QBD and looking for a new solution. Good time to get this sorted especially as though it's nearly 10 years since the Xero Community Team shared this idea!

    This should really be a standard out-of-the-box solution. Many businesses would operate B2B and having control over customer pricing structures is absolutely necessary.

    We create deals on a per customer basis, we may discount one by a fixed percentage while another may have their prices reduced by a random value per item, to encourage particular buying behaviours.

    Yes we have over three customers with various levels of pricing. Having to manually change pricing every time an invoice is created is time consuming and also leads to some pricing being incorrect which then requires further administration. One would think it would be a standard feature for any software involving inventory

    I cannot use the inventory fonctions if I cannot manage several prices per items

    There have been many requests and comments over, at least, the last five years, regarding tiered prices for Products and Services. These have been on Xero Community threads like "Advanced Inventory - Custom (Tiered) Price List for different customers" and "Help Needed - Multiple price lists on XERO (Retail vs Wholesale) Customers" as well as points raised on Xero Central Support. It is a feature that would help many businesses.

    Would love to have individual price lock ins for each contact!!
