History & Notes - Xero Mail - Log of mail sent via Xero
Have a log or register of all emails sent from a Xero organisation with detail of content, recipients, senders, and date of send.
Purpose: Validity when being queried by customers about a transaction, verifying payments and collecting debtor payments. Proof of interaction.

Dont think we are quite on the same page here! I am talking about something that seems to be a built in feature of Xero.
All Contacts - Search customer - click on customer- List of invoicesAwaiting payment. Scroll down past 'Money in over last 12 mths' until you see a box 'Note by...... to the right 'date of note'.. to a small solid down arrow. Click on it 'View or Copy. click on view to see the note or email and get a program note 'Something is wrong' Error 500
Appreciate it if you can get this function to work please.

I note that when sending Customer Statements, a note is created under the contact. When you click 'View', an error appears. This makes it impossible to view the statement that was sent to your client. If an invoice is changed after statements are sent - it's useful to see EXACTLY what the client saw on their statement - making it easier to reconcile their payments.
I have had a client refer me back to the statement I sent them earlier in the month - but I couldn't view it or recreate it. Not a very professional look. -

I can't believe this is not a defacto standard facility. Audit trails being able to prove email communications are essential !

This would be a very handy feature. For the moment I think the only option is to save invoices to my desktop then attach to my own emails. This however seems to defeat the purpose of the on-line email feature but hopefully this will be a future improvement.

Its incredibly frustrating that there is no history logged regarding emails
its causing heaps of dramas and resulting in allot of wasted time
please amend asap
