We have 4 separate divisions with 4 different branding. Very time consuming as we have to tick up to 65 individual customers in one division to send statements and sometimes we send the wrong customer a different branded statement as names of customers can be similar to another division, which becomes confusing for the customer.
I thought with us setting the customers into groups would help, but there is no way to make it work. Having this sorted would, 1.save us time, 2. not allowing mistakes sending statements to the wrong customer

I thought Xero used to be able to do this. This is very important. You can export by Group so the sort code is in Xero. Cant be a difficult fix.

This helps clients with multiple entities keep track of what they have and haven't paid - in turn it helps us focus on our work instead of following up for them.

This would be super helpful when you have clients with multiple billing entities, and who don't always keep track of what has/hasn't been paid already.

We have various customer groups- we would like to send to selected groups only - rather than selecting customers individually

Regarding a school, we need to send out statements to the parents, we do this by giving the learners letters and they can take them home to their parents. Due to there being different class (0/ R - 4-A-H), we need to have a way to print per class. Xero does not give the option to print per class. I would need to select each student and it is time consuming. Please assist in adding this feature. We would really appreciate this.

Grouping of Statements nowadays is important to be included in Xero. This will save time and again will keep clients (Service Providers) happy by receiving one email with various statements to chase their clients.

How will Xero Users be informed with such update?

As well as being able to send out in groups will there be a feature where you could group the invoices by tracking category and have subtotals within the statement. I thought this would already be a feature to be honest.

This would be ideal as we have different bank accounts set up for different tracking activities and would reduce significant admin work.

I assume it would not be hard to add the tracking activity in the statement template options.

This would be super helpful and such a time saver!

Totally agree with everyone else here - it seems redundant to group contacts into their respective groups and then to not be able to send a statement to these groups. Sorting this feature urgently would be a significant help!

Xero... This idea was shared 9 years ago by your Xero Community Team... Could you please respond to this thread to give everyone an update if this is something you're working on/progressing/talked about? This seems like such a simple thing to do. We love using Xero but just a few tweaks with functionality (like this example) would make life so much easier :).

Posting a request again for this feature as it is important that Xero listen to their users and add this as an option.

Sending statements to "group" would be great for small businesses. We have a client with both GBP and EUR customers and we want to send statements using a different statement template containing different bank details.

Adding a button or even a column to the screen "Send Statements" would be ideal and seems like an easy feature to add.

Would be great to be able to send statement to a contact group. Have a client that has numerous invoices but only sends statements to a handful of clients. To be able to filter by group would be fantastic.

Would be great to have this feature, For us for example we have different customers to send orders to but the statement needs to go to head office (foodstuffs) at this point we have to export the statement to an Excel and then add the previous balance, add payments and discounts received

The whole statements area is surely due for an upgrade? Being able to send by contact group would be amazing - when you go into the contacts area, it almost feels like it's about to let you do it... then it doesn't.
